Meh old made 7.5 million last year so probably wants too much… I’ll pass. If they are going to spend money I’d do it on a guard or corner. Safety can be found in later rounds in the draft and we suck at drafting corners.

Meh idk he’ll be over 30 and was a journeyman prior to Miami maybe a 2 year 13 million extension. Only making 4.4 now. 6.5 seems fair.

You can argue McBride is better but I don’t think he’s head and shoulders above Bowers
Bowers is equal as a pass catcher, but nowhere near MCBride as a blocker yet. In another season or two, they might be 1a/1b though.

I have Bowers as a slightly better pass catcher but McBride is a much better blocker for sure.
I’d have McBride1A and Bowers 1B1/2 lol
Fair enough, lol. Hard to quibble too much with that. It'll be a while before Bowers gets paid though.

I don't have any desire to resign Jonnu Smith for a big extension. He'll be 31 years old by the time his new contract kicks in. Father time remains undefeated. Pat yourself on the back, you made a nice free agent signing, but don't pay for past production.

I like the player for the future no matter the regime as he plays real tough, hands checked out last year and he takes care of his body relentlessly.
I would extend him.
