Freeman: Everyone I speak to in the NFL says Manning to Redskins

Since the NFL league is a "what have you done for me lately" one, going forward:

we don't know what the rosters will look like next year yet so it's hard to evaluate and your coach has never been a HC in this league so how would that be even vs. one of the best coaches in the league?

The season is over, momentum means nothing. Your 1 game win streak against a team that quit won't help you next year.

Chemistry- didn't Marshall and davis get into a fight last year?

Based on last year I think you were pretty fair w/ the evaluations of units except QBs would be even as both were .500 QBs last year.

how do you win 5 of your last 6 games and "back in" to the playoffs?

Oh, sorry, was that not descriptive enough?

The New York Jets only made the playoffs because the Indianapolis Colts rested their starters and essentially forfeited the game, knowing full well that this could allow the Jets into the playoffs. The Colts did this because they did not fear the Jets and preferred to play them instead of the Steelers, who were also fighting for that playoff spot.

The Colts then proceeded to pound the ever-loving **** out of the Jets in the AFC Championship game when they were, you know, actually playing their starters.

Does that clarify what happened during the 2009-2010 season?

I didn't bring up the Jets, I will take the blame if I am to blame but I never brought up the Jets.

Why do you spend so much time worried about me instead of sticking to the discussions?

I didn't say you brought them up but b/c someone else does doesn't mean every god damn thread needs to be about the Jets.

I don't spend any of my time worried about you on my favorite sports-related site. How the hell do I not stick to the discussions? Look in this thread, I've made numerous comments about the topic at hand. Same in the other thread that's now in the ****ing Depths.

We're still not done talking about this?

So we only made it b/c we got a qtr and a half of Indy backups in a 5 pt game midway through the 3rd qtr? Interesting.

They punded the ever-loving **** out of the Jets? It was a FG game in the 4th qtr, we LED at halftime and led in the 3rd qtr. It's not like we lost 62-7 or 38-3.

you just negated your whole statment, you admitted your team quit, then have the nerve to talk about chemistry about 1 minimal fight between Marshall and Davis that was never spoken about again? in terms of momentum miami did not quit unlik the jets even after starting 0-7, jets had everything to play for and choked and quit, that only creates negative momentum going into next season, and again the chemistry thing you have to be kidding bringing that up, Holmes quit mid game on his qb and team, openly critisized sanchez aswell as all the unnamed players who ripped him, players were asking for Peyton Manning, your coach admitted he had no feel for the team, plax shows no desire to go back and already said he wants to go to the eagles, Tomlinson said it was an awful lockeroom as well as your 3rd string QB, the jets were the perfect example of ZERO chemistry and a disaster last season

QB evaluations were not even, Moore outplayed Sanchez down the stretch and it wasnt even close, Moore has a shortened off season with his new team and took minimal if any 1st team reps, Sanchez was in his 3rd year same system and team and coaching, Moore was thrown in due to injury, Sanchez started from day 1, Moore as he got more comfortable only played better, Sanchez regressed, and in the game that mattered for Sanchez more than Moore, Moore outplayed him, Sanchez cost the jets the game, Moore led a 21 play TD drive to take the lead for good, Sanchez threw an INT to lose the game

I didnb't bring up chemistry and when teams win the LR is usually better than when they lose. if you think we can never win b/c they had problems last year I think you are mistaken.

Moore is not as good as Sanchez, it's much easier to play w/ no expectations to win.

Moore did nothing the rest of that game, he had ONE drive. Until that last INT Sanchez was badly outplaying him in that game.

Let me know how Moore does when he actually plays a meaningful game.

The Jets are probably the most screwed up team in the NFL. They have to keep Santonio Holmes on the team due to his contract, and everyone is throwing Sanchize under the bus. Talk about a team heading in the wrong direction.

yea that stat line really shows what a quality franchise QB Sanchez is, in a must win game to get into the playoffs he posts a 65.5 QB rating lol, including 2 interceptions to a defensive lineman and the 3rd interception to a 5th string Linebacker

"The Jets again were victims of their own mistakes, with each interception leading to a field goal. They've given up 126 points off turnovers this year, the most in the league."

you know that if we won we weren't going to the playoffs, right? he played terribly down the stretch as did the rest of the team but he's come up big in big games more often than not in his career and Moore has yet to play in a big game.

Yes i know that thank you. Did you know that the players did not know that when they were playing? and even if they know they were already eliminated (which they did not) are you telling me that since they were eliminated Sanchez would have thrown those 3ints on purpose? or the defense let Moore lead a 21 play TD drive?

It is not necessarily Moore's fault that he hasnt had a chance to play in a "big game" but regardless its a "what have you done for me lately league" correct? Well lately....Sanchez choked terribly in his "big game" and in his most "lately" season he regressed and was a turn over machine

I don't know how you could possible say that, you were not mathematically eliminated unless you lost. Yes if the Jets won they needs some key losses to get into he playoffs but the fact is, they didn't even close out on a 5-10 team which at least gave them a shot for help to get in.

Good teams play hard in tough situations, average and bad teams skate through, win some/lose some. The Jet were a bad team down the stretch in 2011, no denying that.
