Freeman: Everyone I speak to in the NFL says Manning to Redskins

We don't really know if the Jets have a better coaching staff now. I'd say they absolutely did when Sparano and co. were here, but this is a fresh staff (for the most part) and nobody knows how they will fare yet. So as of right now, the "better CS" piece is subjective at best.

I would also say that the Jets have a more volatile locker room and a team that no longer believes in their quarterback (regardless of what the media will say). The defense is also getting older. I think the Jets have regressed more than you'd like to admit and aren't that far away from just being a middle-of-the-pack team again (like they were this year).

I will say that the Jets at least have a playmaker (Revis) that I would love for the Dolphins to have, but realistically, I think the Dolphins' offense is in better shape than the Jets right now. No clue on the defense (right now I'd give the edge to the Jets), but the Dolphins are younger and potentially moving to a new system. I have no idea if that will work out, but I'd like to think that Coyle can light a fire under the ***** of the under performing guys (Davis, Smith, etc). We'll see, because after all, right now all we can do is speculate.

Our staff has bee to 2 title games in 3 years, you didn't wow w/ any of your hires. That doesn't mean they won't be better but on paper as we speak now the Jets get the edge.

As volatile as our LR was our players didn't come to blows like Davis and Marshall, right?

If the Jets didn't believe in their QB why would they have brought in a conservative guy like Sparano? They would have gone all in for Peyton if they didn't believe in sanchez.

Offensively going forward we have a better QB, OL, Rbs are about even, WRs are about even. We have the edge on O. As bad as our O was we still scored more points and had a more efficient offense and that was a/ all the dysfunction.

Again, anything can happen. Miami may make great moves this offseason, the CS may turn out to be really good and you could be better but on paper as of today we clearly have the edge.

we have more talent, a better CS and big game experience. Again, nothing is guaranteed but only a Miami homer would favor the dolphins over the Jets at this point.

so after all i write, your justification and response is "we have more talent" based on nothing, only a Jets homer on a Dolphins website would say that, your obsession with the 2 divisional round wins is unreal, awesome you have big game experience, what does that mean? absolutely nothing apparently since in the "biggest games" of the Jets season they blew it bad, you were going to overtake the Patriots for the division....lost both games to them....were going to prove in primetime you can hang with the Ravens, got absolutely embarassed, down the stretch with must needed wins got embarassed and blown out by the Eagles, then against the team that your coach claims the Jets are not the little brother of, got beat with another awful game by Sanchez, and in the biggest game last game of the season for a possibility to still make the playoffs with a win, your team and QB choke terribly againt the team you claim to be so much better than and have so much more talent then

so apparently your big game experience of losing in the AFC championship games means absolutely nothing, the Chargers and Rivers have plenty of "big game experience" that did wonders for them this season huh?

So Manning eh? Redskins eh? The other 30 teams in the NFL eh? Remember any of that discussion in this thread?

there's not a non dolphin homer alive that would say Miami has more talent than the Jets.

We had a bad year, it happens. I take the 2 good years over the bad year, I think 2 of 3 says more than 1 of 3, wouldn't you agree? for now the one is a fluky down year, we'll see if it becomes 2.

Gor as bad as we were we still finished 2 games better than a team that is supposedly better than us- how does this happen?

That seems like a bit of a contradiction doesn't it? Why bring in a conservative, ball control guy, if they are sold on Sanchez as a franchise QB?

who said Miami is better than the Jets, did i say that? So now you go from being proud and boasting about 2 AFC Championship game losses, to now bragging about being 2 games better than a team who finished 6-10 lol, wow really reaching for the stars there, woopdie doo you finished .500 and didnt beat a single team with a winning record, watch out NFL, Jets are just so much better than the Dolphins that they lost to them in the game that had a playoff spot on the line for the jets and choked all season long in their most important games, but as usual you just ignore it all and use the same excuses and points only beneficial to your thoughts

and regarding your theory of 2 of 3 more than 1 of 3 and a "fluky" down year, because the 2009 backdoor playoffs wasnt "fluky" at all right? of course not......its what have you done for me lately, how does 2009/2010 have any affect on 2012 season? you think the Steelers are saying well our Super Bowl loss to the Packers and divisional loss to the Tebow's are really gona carry our team in the 2012 season

exactly, they bring in Tom Moore to help, fire their OC because he wanted their "franchise QB" to throw too much.....and bring in a OC whos gameplan is run,run,3 yard curl with 4 yards for the 1st, Field Goal, because that shows such confidence in Sanchez, the OC for the Packers current HC of the Phins left, you think they said "oh lets bring in conservative run the ball play for FGs kinda guy to help out Aaron Rodgers?

Not really, you have to remember how we ended 2011. The offense was in shambles, the QBs confidence shaken and they brought in Tony to simplify things a bit and regain Sanchez's confidence.

You are all over the place, we were discussing the Jets and Dolphins for 2012.

I don't think the Jets are saying their title game apps will "carry them" but they have the confidence to know how to get it done unlike a team like Miami which has a roster full of guys who have never done anything as a team.

You do realize how ridiclous it is to make a stament like that comparing Rodgers and sanchez, right?

The packers still have their OC- Mike McCarthy runs that offense.

Davis and Marshall went to blows because Davis apparently showed up to practice a little banged up after a night of partying. Marshall made it a point to set him straight. As awkward as it may be, Marshall actually showed leadership in that respect. Marshall is still immature, but I'm pretty sure his crazy *** is a little more settled than Santonio Holmes.

I won't respond to any of your other points because most of them are subjective opinions (minus the offensive line, which I agree with).

why were you discussing the Jets then?

How can he meet w/ the Redskins when he isn't a FA yet?

I will try to find the article which says he is in DC. It's not against the law to visit a place on your own. Collusion only occurs if the owner is actively recruiting him. Check out this decal:
