Until our playoff hopes are destroyed... we still have a decent shot at winning our division. And no matter how poorly Frerotte has played... he still gives us the best chance to win.

So for all you guys wanting Sage and Lemon to start... you're gonna have to wait until we are out of playoff contention... IMO of course.

as much as i hate to hear it i'm very inclined to agree with you, there's no way we bench him at this point, we've already gone halfway with him

i dont understand the philosophy that you wait for a guy to ruin your season to point of no return before making a change. i dont get it

i know parcells wouldnt do that

that's exactly what parcells did last year, actually

frerotte is the best QB we got. that's why he's playing. pretty simple

Maybe he'll get knocked out in the first quarter, briging in sage on our way to an 8 game winning streak

Amen to that, it's amazing how the back up is always better than the starter, Sage is the backup for a reason, granted i'd like to see him get his chance but at this point i don't think it's the answer

Wright is better than boller.
Last year Kitna was better than Palmer.
A few years ago Brady was better than Bledsoe... wait a second. Sometimes backups do come in and make sparks.

But yoru right, the backup is always better than the starter when the season isn't going well and the qb is making mistakes.

i would take vinny of last year over gus any day of the week.

henson was an ungroomed rookie, sage is a vet.

Best chance to win what? The Division? LOL....Then what? Lose to either Indy, the Steelers....or maybe the Pats on a return game? As long as Gus is the QB....and Linehan is calling those high school plays....the Dolphins aren't going anywhere far.
Haven't we had enough of just good enough seasons....just good enough to win enough garbage games....and then lose....just good enough to miss out on the top talent in the draft....thanks but no thanks. Even Shula had a chance to build with top draft picks....and he built a dynasty.

Kitna was better than palmer last season but Palmer was a second year man and he had to be nurtured along the coaching staff felt they had to go with their guy and obviously worked out, the whole Brady argument is a fluke, even a blind squirrel (the pats) find a nut sometimes, and don't forget brady got his chance because bledsoe got hurt not because he showed him up in practice or the fans started revolting, and with Wright and Boller, well it's like comparing rotten apples with rotten apples. Like i said i'd love to see sage get his chance but he's been a career backup for so long you have to figure there's a reason.

God if this doesnt sound like a Wanny statement I don't know what does.

What will it take for some people to take off the blinders and realize we are not going to win with Gus.

And I hate to break this to you but i think the playoffs are already out of the picture. Or do you think Gus is all of a sudden going to become hall of fame material and take us to the superbowl?

I will say I am definitly one of those guys that are tired of seeing the same old thing with a Qb who was supposed to be the one who could make this offense run. But so far I do not see him doing a very good job.

So what is the difference . Why not throw Sage in there for a few games or so and see what happens. if anything maybe we win a couple more games.

Who knows we won't know unless Saban gets some balls.

Because I really do not see us winning too many down the stretch with Gus.

Well the way I see it, if the Pats lose tomorrow, than we are in win and take first place situation next Sunday. That in itself gives me hope this year. I have faith In Frerotte, call me whatever you want.
