I really do not see how you can even think we are a team that would even be thinking about being in first place. We are that bad with frerotte.

Now if we inserted a Sage and i am not saying he is going to be a savior but I would rather see Sage in there to at least see what he has rather than go the rest of the season going with a Qb that has proven he isn't winning us games.

And I am not trying to call you any kind of names I try to refrane from that kind of thing if I can.

I just do not see where your faith in Gus is. because frankly I lost it like about 3 games ago.But you are a young guy so maybe you have more patience than me watching mediocrity. I have seen too many years of it.

I have faith in Gus because I have seen flashes this year of him being a good enough QB to lead the team. I know he is playing bad. But I refuse to give up hope this year.

Game one doesnt count anymore. But go ahead and have your faith in him. I only hope Saban sees things different and finally shows us something by making the switch. I mean he did promote Sage to 2nd string and then cut Aj didn't he.

i don't know maybe Saban wants to lose games this year so he has a chance to draft his guy.

the point is parcells SAID last year that he was going to leave testeverde in UNTIL they were elimintated from the playoffs. so using parcells was a pretty bad example
 
My take with Saban is he just doesnt want to bother going through the growing pains that come with starting what in effect would be a rookie in Sage or Cleo or even AJ when he was here. That's why I believe we're going the free agent or trade route to get our qb next year. maybe we draft a qb in the later rounds but the one who's going to be starting is a veteran, one that saban doesnt have to bother with the growing pains. he's a defensive coordinator and they generally have luittle patience with qbs

Haven't we had enough of just good enough seasons....just good enough to win enough garbage games....and then lose....just good enough to miss out on the top talent in the draft....thanks but no thanks. Even Shula had a chance to build with top draft picks....and he built a dynasty.

I have stated this in another thread Gus will start next week in N.E and IMO I think if he loses the game there will be talks that will really start up about Sage stepping in because then we are 3 games behind 500 and we lost a key game at home that could of put us in first in our division.

gus gives us NO CHANCE TO WIN THE GAME.
 
I know with my last post I am assuming N.E will lose against Indy but I believe Indy will just dominate them tomorrow.
