ft lauderdale restaurants

Well ya, that’s on Las Olas Blvd, no?

Went there on my first trip to Fort Lauderdale when I was 21, been going there ever since. Introduced virtually every person I know to gator bites because of that place.
Well, if you are "biting" a piece of gator, isn't that really a "people" bite? - LOL

There was a Brazilian restaurant Chima on Las Olas a few years ago.
All you can eat meat ( steak, lamb, etc) carved at your table. The sides and salads were very good too. A little bit pricey but definitely memorable.

An old Fort Lauderdale classic is called Bimini Boatyard on 17th street. Actually I think it’s just called Boatyard now. Also, 15th Street Fisheries is a casual place with good seafood

Why not Don Shula's Steakhouse
Take the ride to Shula's in Miami Lakes. Haven't been in several years, but it was always awesome. You'll get a top-notch thick juicy steak there that could choke a dinosaur!

Was down there two weeks ago for friends bachelor party and we went to a place on the intercoastal - maybe my FH peeps can help me out with the name of it ? Like I said we were at a bachelor party so I wasn’t paying attention. Place had a parrot upon entry and was near a brewery maybe tarpon river ?

Either way place we went to was great due to outdoor seating and the seafood they offered. Think it was Spanish or something.

Sorry not helping much but would love the name of this place- we really enjoyed watching the boats cruise by and plus one for the walk to the brewery for the night cap

Buddy I just asked the question to my friend group - place is called pirate republic.

I know there are many many many people on here that know them better than me but we had a bunch of dudes on the water drinking great drinks and sewering seafood and then hit the brewery down the street after. For us out of towners it was magical in the for what it’s worth category, and we are foodies … tk

oh yeah this sounds like a typical south florida event! Glad you got to experience that! I haven't been there but sounds like I need to be! Sometimes it takes a buddy getting married to do these things lol! Fins up!

Lol so true . Rocco’s tacos happy hour is also very strong. Again don’t want all the FH south Florida people to tar and feather me but that is my .02 - have fun my man whatever you do

As you can see op, there is a plethora of options.... it's downtown ft lauderdale. Your hotel is in walking distance of one of the hottest spots in South FL, so the world is your oyster (which you'll find plenty of there as well).

I don't know where you're from but if it's an area that doesn't see much casino action it would definitely be worth it to run over to the hard rock casino. It's only about 15-20 minutes and it's pretty great and plenty of food options inside.
