Further proof that the Dolphins need to clean house summed up in one tweet.

Funny I don't think its a concern either. Defenses don't need a jump to get a sack on Tannehill, he's there for the taking whenever they want against our OTs. Plus, did anyone notice the go-go before the screen pass last week? Probably not because we're still making a big deal about the cadence.

How do other teams and QBs handle this issue?
 
If it makes you feel better, Coach Philbin also said the team varies their cadences every now and then. Let's not leave out parts of his quotes just cause we feel like bashing the guy for the 1000th time today.
 
the go thing is silly nobody should make a big deal out of something every team does and isn't an issue

I'm bashing the guy for good reason. He claims that the cadences change, yet every single time it's a run, Tannehill says "go go." Every time it's a pass, he says "go." I'm not exaggerating. You can hear it in every game. That makes a big difference. One step for a defender in either direction can leave someone open or create a turnover for example. As another poster pointed out, the OL is swiss cheese so the defense doesn't need a jump, but it doesn't help either. A head coach who thinks that's okay is someone I don't want coaching this team.

EDIT: I feel like I need to state the obvious. Of course this isn't the main or only reason why this team is losing, but it's simply not a smart thing to do.

Doesn't Andrew Luck shout out the same thing before the snap? While it is funny that while we as fans had seen the go/go-go cadence by Tannehill, does the defense really have that big of an advantage? They'd have a split second to decide if they're going to drop back on a pass or come up to stop the run if they "knew it was coming".

Dont expect perfection after 2 straight 7-9 seasons and the current regimes 2nd year. Youre expecting too much. Not like we are having a losing season.
