Further proof that the Dolphins need to clean house summed up in one tweet.

Formations and personnel will give the defense all the information they need. Why worry about the damn cadence...geez.

Doesn't Andrew Luck shout out the same thing before the snap? While it is funny that while we as fans had seen the go/go-go cadence by Tannehill, does the defense really have that big of an advantage? They'd have a split second to decide if they're going to drop back on a pass or come up to stop the run if they "knew it was coming".

It would have the biggest impact on draw plays and playactions.

I can't imagine Tannehill is doing the same thing all season and the cadence hasn't been changed up at some point. These people coaching our team are not idiots.

Maybe Tannehill should become a Surgeon? Oh wait, this is the Dude who did not know what teams played in the AFC East. Go Go.

FYI, some really good football players hate to watch football as entertainment. I know, 'cause it frustrates me to no end that my all-state running back big brother refuses to watch a football game with me. He won't watch any sports. If he's not a part of the action, he's bored with it. Really, my friend, it is no big deal that RT didn't know that. However, if he doesn't know it now (which I doubt), we do have a problem.

Is this a real thing??

How do other teams and QBs handle this issue?
They change it up every game. They may use a color, a name of a city etc but its changed up. This is why we cannot run the ball and this is why we are getting run over, well besides the fact both our Offesive tackes are horrible. This was the beginning of the end for Sherman at A & M and his son in law Zac Taylor as QB coach. They have not changed one thing up from college, not one thing signal wise. Shermans offense is as basic as heck. And the check down, run or pass verbage has been figured out a long time ago. Add to that Tannehill looks right at the receiver he is going to throw the ball to, always has, always will.

The Go / Go Go thing mean nothing to a defender. They will get more of an advantage studying tendencies see Robey's Pick 6.

What it does do is hurt your offense in terms of hard counts. But to give a defender an advantage it is way overblown.

They can get more tips on pass vs run by knowing tendencies and formations. Also OL will tip it long before a cadance. IMO this entire thing is over blown by fin fans wanting to bash something with the coach and or QB.

Nothing to see here

Love it a bills fan telling it how it's done

Another perfect example. Mario was mic'ed up against you all. Did he mention Cadence tips. Nope. What he did mention to coaches is there is something up with Dolphins adjustment to him flipping sides. Your RB would flip as well.

When Bills coaches were asked they mentioned something about they saw your RB stay in more when Mario flipped sides after Phins were already at the line

Something they have seen in the past. So by Mario moving before Snap would keep your RB in the backfield.

See those type things are alot more telling then a Go / Go Go cadence

It doesn't matter what the cadence is, Tyson Clabo will just bend over and allow his man to go through him anyway

If it makes you feel better, Coach Philbin also said the team varies their cadences every now and then. Let's not leave out parts of his quotes just cause we feel like bashing the guy for the 1000th time today.

He says it but as someone who cuts up a LOT of film its not accurate. Unless you take into account the silent counts its almost 98% accurate Go vs Go Go. With the troubles the Tackles are having I would and he should be concerned about it.

Not idiots no but not always the brightest.

why even play action fake then?

you know RIGHT at the snap if its a run or pass. theres no more pause for DEs who are also need to worry about setting the edge against the run if they know its a pass.

i honestly dont understand how people dont get that this is not smart. i feel like im taking crazy pills

its more cus he is back in shotgun too much than anything else. When your in shotgun, you are basically passing 80% of the time. All you need to do is get to spot X in 2 seconds with an inside move. mario just proved this.

Um what? Tannehill wasn't in shotgun on either of the sacks by Mario. I know he wasn't on the fumble and I'm pretty sure he wasn't in shotgun on the first sack neither cause Tannehill was still in his drop back when he got hit.
