I think most of the, cut Gibson talk came from the media saying he wouldn't be recovered fully. Clearly that is not an issue and I doubt you will find too many people that said they wanted Gibson cut based on his play.
 
Why not try Shelley Smith at RG in for Dallas Thomas?

Dallas Thomas is not good.
 
Well I know nobody wants to hear it but lets wait and see Moreno. He's been playing in the zone blocking scheme his whole career and doesn't go down via a swift breeze like Miller. He has less talent but is a better scheme fit.

Why blame Miller? It's not as if Walter Payton would do that much with the way the line is blocking in the run game again.
 
I don't get how this defense constantly screws up on 3rd downs.

That will very likely happen soon. Thomas got a shot and it looks like he blew it. This is what preseason is for.

Though now that I think about it, they obviously needed to make changes last year and never did, so maybe it won't.
 
Our running game stunk last year too. And we don't have Moreno or Thomas playing. Not that it will make much of a difference, but at least the pass blocking looks better.
 
Figures, it looks like we may finally have a QB and the Defense is ****.
