I was talking to a Patriot fan and the first thing he told me is, "Brady often seems to have problems playing in Miami, and Jason Taylor always seems to have big games against them." He didn't sound too confident that this would an easy game for the Patriots. I think the key is Miami has to get pressure on Brady and force them into mistakes. They no longer have Moss as the deep ball threat but we have to have a good game by our d-backs. Nobody is giving Miami much of a chance but I like our chances.

Haynesworth is fat and out of shape. Why do you just assume he is going to be a beast again? What has he done in the last two years, or this preseason for that matter. He can barely stay on the field without needing to come out for a break. Wilfork is a monster..that we agree on. Dont do him the injustice of putting one of the laziest players I have ever seen in the same context as him. Good grief. You're forgetting the fact that Moss was absolutely useless in the Miami game last season, and that's why we cut his sorry *** because he was pouting about not getting an extention.

Not at all, it's amazing to me how little you understand the written word, my point is that great organizations will always put better products on the field Hall of Fame Qb or not. I also understand that it's doubtfull that I will ever see a better QB start for the Patriots in my life time, but yet again, Great organizations will out live great players.

Seems to me you have a problem putting words together, then remembering what you said. Replacing a HOF QB has nothing to do with putting a better product. Either your talking about replacing a HOF QB, or your talking about compensating for the huge amout of talent you will miss when the QB retires.

Miami after Marino retired, did put a good product together, they loaded up and had a great defense, they got themselves an elite RB, but still were not able to replace the HOF QB....Like the 49ers, like the Broncos, like the Bills, like the Rams, Like the Packers, Steelers, Balt Colts, and Vikings did when they lost their HOF QB from the 60s and 70s.

Basically you misspoke when you said that the your team would have no problem replacing your HOF QB, many well run organizations have had problems finding their next franchise QB, once they left, and unless your Patriots are very lucky, they will have problems too.

For starters, Miami is far from a great organization, and maybe you forgot that the 49rs went with back to back Hall of Famers with Montana and Young. It was only when the ownership changed that they fell apart.

Every Dynasty comes to an end and it has little to do with ownership...it doesn't matter if you are talking about the Packers of the 60's, Dolphins and Steelers of the 70's, Niners of the 80's, Cowboys of the 90's, or the Patriots of the 00's. Players get old, retire, take more money elsewhere. Almost all of the guys from the Patriot's last SB win in 2004 are LONG GONE.

It is clear that analysts and Patriot fans expect to see the same old offense. I am sure that The hooded one is not making that mistake. The new offense is designed to be a Patriot killer. The questions is whether we can execute it. I am confident that the scheme and our skill players have the matchup advantage. I just question if the offensive line can win enough for us to take advantage.

Jason Taylor is still in the league? 6-7 years ago I might be nervous about him, but I doubt the Pats are keying him as an impact player. He did absolutely nothing with the Jets.
