It's something he made up. I highly doubt that this trade will go down because the Jags don't want to give up Garrard.

The only reason why it's brought up is because the Jags need a RB and we need a QB. I doubt that we want to give up Gordon now and i doubt that the Jags want to give up Garrard. Just this offseason the Jags was asking for a 1st round pick for him. So i doubt that Gordon will be the only guy that they want.

I've searched just about every site I can think of and I see nothing about this trade. Jax should be fine at RB as long as Jones doesn't completely bust and Fraud Taylor can stay somewhat healthy. I kinda like Garrard, but I want a better QB leading this team. I'm tired of these QBs we're grabbing out of other team's dumpsters.

Scott Mitchell did really well when Marino was out.
Gus did well for the Vikes
Feeley did well for the Eagles

Just because a player does OK for a few games as a backup doesnt mean he's capable of performing at a starting level consistantly.
