I lived I Jax for a while and while I'm no Garrad homer. His stats are better than any QB we've had in for looks other than Peyton. At least we have some halfway decent depth. The Jags shouldn't have cut him. I say let him and Moore fight it out. Draft a stud WR, and if all else fails we draft Barkley next year.

You are correct.

He also played without many weapons in JAX.

I am not sure what he has left, but let him compete for the job. I bet he does not suck...Good leader too.

People this is a decent cheap move.... Well draft a qb and have Moore and Gerard battle it out. Gerard is a probowler... Manning did not want to come here... End of story

With our luck we'll probably be 7-9 with little to not shot at Barkley.

He was considered an elite qb at one point I think a lot of people are commenting and haven't seen him play. Is he as good as before id have to see it. But this is no splash.

Garrard is solid. If this offseason didn't have Peyton Manning as a FA this would be a good signing for the Fins.

But still, very underwhelming, and Ross will not sell tickets because of David Garaard.

Great pick up! That's jags team had no one to throw too

That's a curious way to look at it. Garrard's stats from his last year are probably pretty similar to Alex Smith's. But keep in mind that was 2 years ago and the man is 34 now. That one partial season he had where he threw freakishly few INTs must be like 5 or 6 years ago now. Of course no one's QB rating is going to be higher than Flynn in his incredibly limited time.

If one year contract is true then I think its a positive move. With both QBs on one year contracts phins may double down on QBs during the draft. Hoping the Bell slary will be used for Anderson so that we dont need to draft a pass rusher in the first round and use that for QB.

Lets keep the positives comng GM.

NFL.COM said it's a one year deal. So....good stuff. Not bad. Better paying a proven QB for one year than paying 10mill a year for Flynn. Give Moore a shot and then draft draft draft
