When he was going to come in last year, I wouldn't have minded picking him up then. I'm not saying he is our future or our complete fix. It would just be nice to have a decent season. I know in the long run we want to have many good or great seasons, but I myself have been so drained over the years I think we all need a pickup right now. If Garrard can have as good of a season as 2010, we could be contenders. In 2008 when we won the division I was happier than I have been in ages as a Fins fan. So sometimes you have to have a trade off. It may sound selfish, but that's why we wanted Peyton so bad, to WIN NOW. I'm actually ok with this signing and we didn't break the bank. We can still add peices for the future and maybe just maybe win now.
