This subject has been debated on many thread so lets see where everyone stands.

I "couldn't" care less about it. It is a 10 minute half time event that people won't care about weeks from now.

For someone who doesnt care, you sure went through effort to skew the poll.

If people agree with what I said in the other thread or the post I made above, that is hardly an attempt to skew the poll. My opinion is just as valid as anyone else. Sorry, I just don't think this Gators thing is going to have the negative impact some anticipate.

I support Anything that will help the Broncos win that game.

I'm glad the Broncos have a bye week to prepare for the trip to Miami, giving Tebow 2 weeks of practice time. Here's to hoping Denver designs new plays with Tebow to throw our defense totally out of whack early and often in that game.

Moreover, the Dolphins will be on a short week while Denver will have 2 weeks to prepare. Let's hope Miami is 0-6 after that game and are in total disarray where Ireland is forced to trade away starters for draft picks (like the Colts are smartly starting to do with Robert Mathis and Reggie Wayne).

I just wish our defense could hold it's ground as well as Nubs.

I agree that you have the right to a vote.

That is the most common response given when someone disagrees with a post on here.

This is a forum. It's a basis for opinion at it's purest form! Find someone on here who doesn't state their opinion.....
You can't, that's what this is here for.

Totally agreed. In these types of polls, everyone with an opinion should have a vote if they want.

I think the world of Nubs, especially his conviction to both hold his ground against all incoming fire and resulting self-restraint from wielding his admin powers in response to some of the more vitriolic personal attacks on him (hell if it were me, I'd have waterlogged at least 5 of em by now)...

However, he's dead wrong on this one and it's not even up for debate. He's not local although he does go to great expense to attend games down here, doesn't root for a college team that's going through particularly hard times and doesn't hate one of their most contested opponents. I do think he'd be singing a different tune if on a bye week, Penn State honored Jake Long, or even better, Lloyd Carr during a home game vs Michigan.

And no Nubs, I agree it's not the same, the Tebow brainfart is much worse!

Gators = Jets to me. As a Canes fan I respect our rivals like FSU. The Gators and Notre Dame both disrespect the U of M then refuse to play us in order to avoid a lose that would cripple thier BCS chances. Self rightous cowards is what they are to me.

Thank you for the nice words.

I agree those two scenarios you put out are not the same. In fact, I am not sure how they are even comparable. Penn State would never honor Carr or Long, just like the Canes would never honor the Gators. But, this is not happening at a Canes game, it is a Dolphins game. A better comparison would be the Eagles honoring at their home game past Penn State national championships. Temple and Penn State play almost every year, yet I highly doubt Eagles fans would threaten to cancel their season tickets and never go to another Eagles game.

But then again the most hated player from that Penn State team (from the Temple fans perspective) wouldnt be starting at QB for the opposing team.
