Getting excited about Travis Daniels

I think our secondary will be great within the next couple of years. For some reason I'm thinking Daniels at CB is only going to be a temporary thing. I wouldn't be sad about him being moved to FS, considering he can play 2 different positions in Saban's system.

Uh I felt like poole played pertty' well last year and he will get some p/t late this season as well he wont miss da' whole season.

Yes but he tore his knee up, and it frequently takes a couple years for players to fully recover from that....if ever.

Also, he hardly showed last year he is a top flight starting corner in this league, potential? Maybe.

Daniels isn't moving anywhere, barring serious problems at the safety spot. Saban has said numerous times that CB is the natural position for Daniels, not safety.

Point taken, but I still would not mind seeing him there at all. If we happened to find a corner that played better than Daniels, I would move Daniels to safety. If he's a natural at the corner position than keep him where he is best at.
