getting Ricky back...

Had Ricky been forced to run behind the sieve we had posing as an offensive line, he would have gained about 1200 yards and we would have been 9-7, without a playoff appearance and Wanny would have stuck around for another year, turning Ricky into a modern day Earl Campbell.

Don't get me wrong, I was pissed about what he did last summer, but in hind-sight it was for the best. He saw that he was going to get killed behind a terrible line and didn't want to play for a man he called, " a clown" (Wanny). The bad season that ensued ushered in a new & promising era in Miami and he could be part of it. I'm ready to burn one down with Ricky.

in hindsight im happy he retired......instead of having ANOTHER mediocre season, 20th pick in the draft in 2005,AND Wanny still around..........we got the 2nd pick in the draft,Wanny quitting, and HOPE (Saban)

I don't care that Ricky retired to smoke pot, sounds like a good idea at times. Its the timing of which he did it. He retired a week before camp. Had he retired at the end of the season, then I would have wished him well and never had a bad word to say about him. For me timing was everything. Just the timing, not the action...
Totally agree with you....and now i'am welcoming his return if he decide to come back. I like Ronnie very much, but we need to see how he can adjust to the nfl. Having Ricky is a big assurance for us cause we know what he can do.
