Give Tannehill a year to relearn with Lazor. Drop bad habits from Sherman.

buxster, I'd read this: http://nypost.com/2014/09/10/cardinals-coach-itll-take-half-a-season-to-re-program-eli/

“It was Week 8 for us last year,’’ Arians said. “Then, all of a sudden, you could see the guys around him start to get it and play faster and play better. Instead of waiting to see a guy come open, he was throwing guys open.’’

It's an article abiout Eli Manning and the Giants, but they got some very interesting comments from Bruce Arians. He believes that a QB can improve his anticipation and ball placement with experience as he gets more comfortable within his offense. At least, that's how I interpret "throwing guys open." We shall see.

Don't worry OP. You will get your year...but if there isn't improvement...and I mean BIG improvement; expect a QB to be drafted next year. He may even get next year....but after that, his contract ends and he will not be resigned and the new kid will take over. That's how I see this playing out...been watching this **** year after year...
I'm with ya on that- sounds like the way to go.

Oh well, at least we have KC and Oak on the next two.

Man, that's a great read, thanks so much for sharing that.
Echos the sentiments - considering the early season and running a new offense versus a variance of defenses (at game speed), I'm sure there'd be a learning curve issue, even for a Manning. I objectively don't see why there wouldn't be one for RT after so many straight years with Sherman.

RT knows the offense.
He simply throws the wrong type of ball in each given circumstance.
He also throws the ball late because of his physical and mental mechanics.
He doesn't have great accuracy.
With a running game and excellent protection, he can put up 20-24 points.
That is not good enough in today's NFL. That is 8-8.

Lazor-tag kinda gives off the vibe he ain't eatin' what Taintedhope's bakin', as in "get better fast".. subtle, but threatening
