Glazer: Redskins acquire 2nd pick from Rams

They basically gave up 2 1st rounders to move up 4 spots. Not bad if you think that guy is THE GUY.

they also gave up a 2nd which is nothing to just throw away (unless your the Dolphins)'

when you look at it and say you wont be picking again in the 1st round until 2015, it sounds a lot worse, especially with a QB class this is loaded next year

Im not goingto disagree, but that is ALOT to give up, and we would have had to give up WAY more than Washington.

Correct.

We would have had to given up another 2nd round pick/1st round pick.

Plus the Rams didn't want to fall too far down or they lose out on the sure fire studs of the draft.

They swapped 1sts, gave up 2 future 1st and a second round pick (don't know the year)

I wanted to go the FA route to save the pick. I'd be content with Flynn...

They better hope RG3 doesnt bust.

They have alot of Monry to sign to FA Olineman though. And maybe another solid WR.

I wish that was us.

I believe it, Shamahan is in do or die mode right now he wants to try and win at all costs this year he doesn't care about future picks right now, he wants to win now or lose his job... And I guess he figures if he ain't here next yr he just screwed the skins for the next 2 yrs. Fistpump for Shamahan either way win or lose.

They have been mediocre for 15 years...

They are like us...bad QBs on the roster...

Gotta take a risk.

If he isn't the second coming of Daunte Culpecker (pre-injury), they're going to be irrelevant for the next decade.

Way too high of a price.

There is no price for a franchise QB.

If you don't have one, you aren't going anywhere.

They were irreleveant for the last decade...

They weren't getting Manning and sure didn't give a crap about Flynn..Their current roster has no real QBs on it.

I applaud them for taking a risk.

Only time will tell if its a good or bad trade...

There is if he blows and your stuck with him.. Ie... Dumbarcus Russell

2 #1 picks was gonna be a lock anyways the swap from #2 to #6 this year as well makes sense if you're gonna move up to #2 for a qb...i'm just glad it wasn't us paying the price for rg3...that said if it was for andrew luck it would have been peanuts

as for manning and denver which i have to say now has me worried i sure as hell hope we don't go dumb and trade for tim tebow...
