Im pretty confident the majority of finfans feel the same way you do about tanking the season. I dont give a crap if I get flamed out o, I want them to tank the season. I want Miami to lose. I DESIRE a 2-14 season because that builds hope for me for a much better future.. Im sick of mediocrity that Miami fans have grown to accept!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I admit,I secretly want the Phins' to tank the next 10-11 games,but I'd never blog about it lol

I'm rooting big for the Chargers this week.

We desperately need the top pick in every round of the draft for the next regime to take the Dolphins to some form of relevance again.

The 1st overall pick + the 1st pick in round 2 + the 1st pick in round 3 + the 1st pick in round 4, etc -- would make me happy to see under a new (and much better) regime overseeing things.

With that said, GO CHARGERS Baby !!!

How well did Manning play his first year? Oh yeah I forgot, he wasn't very good.

Everyone says Luck is the next Peyton Manning, but there is no guarantee he is.

Is Luck very good, yes he is, but there is no guarantee he lives up to that billing in the Pros.

The way rules are built to help the QB out in this league, you will see more late 1st round rookie QBs find success.

Not too long ago the moronic Jets traded many picks to move up and select a one Mark Sanchez.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers did their home work at sat pat at pick number 17 and got the best QB in the draft that year.

So don't give me this horse sh*t that you can't find a rookie QB who can start day one AFTER the number one overall pick.

Especially this year, as there are a handful of good QBs who have potential to be stars in this league.

I would tend to agree with this sentiment in most situations. however, this kid is a son of a football coach, an excellent student, good size, moves up not only in the pocket, but also when rolling out he steps up into his throws. He has a mental toughness about him that says he would live up to all the money (which will be less nowadays :).

The worst thing that could happen this season is going 7-9.....as usual.
We'd end up mid draft, this regime would get "another chance", and Finheaven be pissing and moaning over the same things next year.

I personally don't see any good in us having another "okay" year. Just my .02

its not really about the draft though. all this suck for luck talk is driving the draft status. but that is not really what is wrong with this team. Its coaching. Coaches are not living up to expectations. Players not either but coaches have to find a way to get the players on board. New coach can correct that. problem there is no gaurrantees on finding that either. Cowher is no gaurrantee that he can get everyone on baord to the point of beating pats and jets and now bills on reg basis.

Luck is rumored/reported to have timed in the 4.6 40 range. He is being compared to not only Manning but also John Elway as a prospect b/c of his athleticism.

Bottom line is our #1 and ONLY goal right now should be the first pick of the 2012 draft.

Really? The Lions have sucked for more than 35 years. That's going back to 1976, and during that period they've won 1 playoff game. The Lions haven't even sniffed the playoffs since 1999.
