Go, Go Go

Yep! One time Tanny did the "Go go" and didn't snap the ball to try to get the D to jump.

One time. It didn't work.

honestly tell this go/go go thing to someone who doesnt watch dolphin games just nfl around the league or something.
It sounds too stupid to be real

Rodgers was doing the same thing. Although it sounds like a big deal I can't see how it is. It is entirely unbelievable that all the staff and players would allow something that caused a problem like people here suggest.

Its funny that defenses just figured it out week 4 of this season even though we've been doing it all along including all of last season. And its killing the run game even though the run game has been improving each and every week. I don't know if it helps or hurts and I don't think anybody does unless they have a football team laying around to run some simulations. Our Head Coach does happen to have a football team to test this out on and if it was as exploitable as some think don't you think Coyle would say something about it?

If Miami's GO-GO offense was a major issues I'd have written about it. Asked 10 different people and it doesn't benefit the defense.

RT @mikeyp890 am I crazy for thinking the Go, Go-Go snap is a HUGE issue?> It is not. I've asked around. Too difficult to explain on twitter

They should change it up. Do a go and run, or a go go play action but be quick because they will expect run. I don't think it's a big deal because they still need to know what kind of pass route we are doing, or which way we are running.

I've been talking about this since the opening game. The opposing defenses are absolutely being "told" which is coming. This honestly puts more pressure on the linemen, backs, receivers, and the QB. I can NOT, for the life of me, figure out why they haven't changed this up.

Everyone knows what Brady's Alpha and Manning's Omaha calls mean. It's not really a big deal. How about the O-line just ****ing block so we don't have to worry about trivialities like this.

Alpha and Omaha mean different things depending on the personnel package. It's switching to a hot route, a run, a screen. So there is more to it than JUST a singular possibility. It is WAY different than TELLING the defense that they need only be concerned with the run or the pass, which ever the case may be (Go or GO-GO). This takes away ANY guessing for the defense to what type of play they will have to defend. This is NOT something that is merely TRIVIAL.

I know Philbin was asked about it very briefly in an interview, but just said he didn't think it mattered much. I wish we could get a lengthier explanation from our coaches on this.
Did they know everyone knows the pattern? (I imagine they do...)
Do they think it matters? Why or why not?
Why can't it be different? O-line too dumb?

We all have our own thoughts on this, but I'd just like 5 mins on this straight from our coaches.
Maybe even getting a comment from another team's Defense on if they know, care, or if it doesn't change their play either way?
The D-line can hear it, can the LBs?

Honestly, how can it NOT matter. When you take any doubt away from the defense that you will either be passing or running, it matters a lot. Talk about predictability. The they may not know the patterns on the pass or where the run is going EXACTLY, but it does make it SOOO much easier for the defense because they can focus only on what is obviously coming. It takes away an entire offensive variable for the defense to worry about.
