Golden Tate At 12.....

he may have dropped 4 passes total his last two years. he led college in recieving totals. he ran a great 40. he plays like hines ward. you wouldnt take hines ward with the 12th pick? and there are people who say benn is better than tate? watch the field of play, thats what matters! benn sucks. he is like derek hagan.. tate has the best hands in the draft, runs like a running back after the catch. played the wildcat in college. returned kicks for touchdowns. what does this guy need to do to prove himself? the best recievers in college played for notre dame last year. who was better tate or floyd? i would draft tate at 12.. watch some football people dont watch the measuring tape
Benn is better than Tate. He sucks? He's like Derek Hagan? Do you watch any college football or tape at all? A lot People had this guy in front of Bryant before the season started for a reason. He had very poor QB play this year. He's more like Anquan Boldin, not Derek Hagan. Tate has the best hands in the draft? Wrong. He's also a body catcher. Benn returned as many kicks for TD's as Tate did. And Floyd is in fact a better NFL prospect than Tate is.

I like to look at it as Bryant, Benn tied with Thomas, Tate, Mike Williams, Price, Dameion Williams.

This guy doesn't even know who the players are in the draft, and you guys are taking his thread seriously?

Sure pal, and you've added anything intelligent to this thread....you shouldn't assume what people know and don't....Tates a good football player, who fights for the ball, and is great running after the catch... he's tough and he could go early....and is more if a big play threat than anything we got..... right now I think he'll be a top 20 pick.... I know Tuna's rep and the liklihood of him goin, or any wideout goin to the Fins in round one is low, but he's parcells type of reciever

Not meant as an insult, but relatively speaking. He is NOT a top 15 pick.
He would be terrible value at that spot in the draft.

I agree with you in the sense that we have other needs that are more pressing than WR to use our 1st round pick on. No worries, bro!

I can name 15 people i would want before tate lol and all 15 wont be taken lol No way man 2nd round

Tate is a munchkin! That's like taking Ted Ginn at the 9th overall...

Oh wait...

I'll be saving this quote and owning you for the rest of your life with it if we draft Tate (which won't be at 12, we'd trade down to at least 20 to take him)

I sure as hell wouldn't be upset if we drafted Golden Tate at #12. Trading down in the 1st and drafting him would be better, but unlikely to happen. Dude's a gamer.

I watched a lot of notre dame this year since the family likes them, and I've wanted to draft tate since September. I can't compare him to any of the other college WRs since I havent seen much of them though.

However, I have no doubt that Tate will be a very good NFL WR. He is just a playmaker, plain and simple. And he can turn any play into a TD. I disagree with whoever said he's a body catcher, because that's not what I saw all season.....

I definately think he's a top 15 talent....

NO NO NO Tate is a no go in the 12th overall pick in the draft

I'd only do it if we were assured that we'd get the whole Tate family. Too much risk otherwise.
