People believe in things and then can change their minds. We all do. RW is doing a PR move by not publicly starting a war w/ the dearly departed and gone from the NFL forever Wanny. He is trying to choose a single reason to retiring last year instead of saying he could not play for a coach. He was going to retire after the year anyway. He was losing the desire to play football b/c of the poor aproach the team had. Chris Carter and others that came in(including Feeley) mentioned how confusing and disorganized the whole staff,practice the entire operation was.
He could have held out and demanded a trade or fire Wanny and everyone would be riding him like TO now. RW is more like Barry in that regard. Instead of ruffling feathers, walk away. He did what was best for RW,Miami,and the game of football.
It sucked, and we all were baffled. Ricky has never quit on his team during the season or in a camp for that matter. He has said he missed the game, he is passionate, and is going to try to move forward and be better than before. He is showing it in his work ethic that has already won his skeptical teammates over.
Let's all hope he finds that inner peace and someday maybe we will all have it to!
