Good News-Bad News (Dion Jordan vs. Jon Martin)

And Patterson still sucks I suppose?

For his career I would say yes. I will admit when he hasnt been injured he has made some plays and played better than he ever has but over his career he has not been a good player and maybe if he can play a few games in a row we might have more to base a long range opinion on.

So is Tannehill a top 10 qb or a bust this week make up your mind on your opinion?

CK;

I, too, am with about changes being gradual. I thought Miami was an 8-8 team. They just looked inconsistent against Buffalo, Baltimore, & the Ohio teams.

The thing that impressed me about Jordan was his helping bracket Gronkowski w/ a safety (either Wilson or Jones on 1 play); he did not look totally fluid but wasn't lost either.

How the heck did this get bumped?

Anyway someone brought up Dimitri Patterson. He's been exceptional in the four games he's played, possibly even better than Brent Grimes. It's actually more like three games from a pure snap count standpoint, which makes four picks even more impressive. Unfortunately the guy is made of old eggs. Keeps taking one little bump and then his body explodes. He's definitely going to end the season on IR one way or another, which is a shame. When he's on the field, the only concern I have left is that teams haven't tested him deep much and if they start doing that he could let up some big plays. That was his M.O. in Philly and Cleveland when asked to play boundary corner. But if he can avoid that, what a value.

As for Jonathan Martin, good riddance. I'm grateful to him that he will have taken down a guy I feel is a bad General Manager. But I'm also grateful that he's no longer playing football for the Miami Dolphins.

Patterson has been one of the most valuable members of the team. Definitely superior to Grimes. Arguably has made more impact per game than any cornerback in team history, if we want to look at it from the most positive lens.

The Martin news has allowed fans here to devalue him as a player. He's certainly NFL caliber, if not someone who should be a long time starter. The knee flex and balance have been quite a bit better this year. He'll never be agile or explosive.
