Yeah it does sound retarded especially the ones that blame a single player for the reasons this team sucks. Which he has done all season after a loss.

Of course he isn't but he hasn't been in the league 6 years either. Then again Brian Hartline isn't Julio Jones nor is Charles Clay, Tony Gonzalez. Hell I can't even say that Lamar Miller is equivalent to a washed up Steven Jackson or aging Michael Turner. Matt Ryan has really had it good in terms of supporting cast since he has been in the league. I can't say that about Tannehill.

thats funny, bc i can promise u that ppl did the same exact thing for all our prior qbs to tannehill, and those qbs actually were able to lead the offense to more than 7 pts in 2 games combined.
this guy was the 8th overall pick, ppl on here like to claim he is going to be elite, some say he is top 10 already, some have compared him to a young tom brady, but yet he is supposed to get a pass every ****ing time?
it would be 1 thing if we lose shootouts the last 2 games, but we ****ing scored 7 ****ing pts not per game, but combined.
how do u ****ing do that in this league, especially with the way the rules r set up today for offenses?
the worst offense in this league should avg no worse than 14 ppg, the worst offense, yet we avg 3.5 ppg the last 2 games, but lets not look at the man who touches the ball every snap.

Oh and how do you think you sound with your average this, mediocre that, so and so sucks? Is it really any less annoying?

look at the 3 games before those 2, u just pick n choose what games and stats you want that favor your argument? a lot of people here do that...

so by your point of view, why was tannehill better than ryan this year?
i thought that there is more to the team than 1 player, maybe ryan had a better year, but other ppl on his team did not step up?
matt ryan should not get all the blame for only getting 4 wins this year according to you, there is a lot more to a team than 1 player.
i saw them both play, and almost every team in the nfls record correlates to how the qb plays.
matt ryan did not have a great year by any means, and he was a big reason they were 4-12. he was not the matt ryan i was used to seeing. look at the ravens. flacco was terrible this year, that is why baltimore was not so good this year.
peyton manning was awesome this year, that is why denver was awesome, tom brady was pretty good this year, especially considering all the weapons he lost, 12-4, a team like the panthers had not gotten good qb play on a consistent basis the past 2 years from newton, and when he finally has a good year, carolina wins the division and gets a 1st round bye. its very simple, good qb play= success.

im looking at the whole picture.
our 8-8 record sums up how tannehill was this year. mediocre.
far from giving us fans assurance he is the future of the team.
i dont see the team moving on from him for 2014, but if u think that ppl r crazy not to feel so confident as of now, i dont know then.
