Good Time For A Change?

Tannehill can fit under any system. Actually the system we ran this year was not a good fit for him. With a running game and time to throw, he has shown to be a very accurate passer.

and so can chad henne from Henning to Daboll right?

You want to change everything up? fine, but I think you will deny that you ever said this once things go to **** in a hurry.

The biggest reason we need a change. Many teams were fighting for a playoff birth yet only one basically didn't even show up versus one of the easiest opponents of the year at home.
Every other team whether they won or lost was giving great effort to secure that last spot but the Dolphins we never even put up a fight and we want to keep this friggin leadership like they are something special.

This team quit on the coaching staff...the players are yelling out loud with their performances for change.

Hey, it can get better or it could get worse. I have no idea who would hypothetically replacing Philbin and the rest of the coaches. Ross could pick a terrible replacement GM and he in turn would select terrible coaches. Can it happen? Possibly. I am hoping that Tony Dungy is the man behind the curtain here and he would call the shots. That would give me greater confidence.
I do think this team quit on our current staff. How will that play out next year? I would hate to tell those opposed to changes ..I told you so. All I can do is wait for changes (if any) and hope for the best.
Anyway, I have more class than to call anyone out. They, or myself would know who they are. I have been wrong before. Such is life.

maybe cus he played in the same system. hello mcfly!!

I think Tannehill exceeded expectation despite the system. All the "go/go go" simplicity, at times ridiculous play calling, and 58 QB sacks with no effective running game, he still managed to put up 4000 yards getting beaten and running for his life. This "system" was hindering his performance. It is a credit to his athleticism that he made some plays. All that said, his ability to hit the deep ball more than half the time was alarming. I chock it up to not being relaxed and confident in the pocket. With time and protection, I think he connects on most of those.
I would prefer a run based system featuring some pistol, 2 TE, and play action passing would be my choice for RT. This WCO scheme is too much finesse and nickle and dime stuff. It is basically a two minute offense. Defenses can easily dissect it over the course of the game and in the AFCE, the teams have the quality corners to shut it down. A bad fit for our current circumstances. I prefer a balanced tough offense with big strike ability.
