GREAT NEWS! Fingers Crossed!! (Xanders interview)

Who is this dude?? Where from?

Helped build Broncos from 09-12, although John Elway had veto power. Drafted Demaryus Thomas with 22nd pick, Eric Decker in 2nd round, Von Miller, Knowshon Moreno, etc. Has been in Lions front office for past 2 years.

Biggest positive compared to others is that, as far as I know, he is the ONLY candidate we have who has actual General Manager experience.

I disagree with hiring inexperienced OC. We deserve better. I do not trust Philbin's judgment at this point. Sorry! But Xanders is awesome, and this would be a great hire.
Prostyle - You were pushing for Xanders a week ago. Looks like some of us have finally caught up. Let's make it happen.
BTW - Convey my best regards to Dawn, I know that she is looking forward to negotiating with all of the player agents.

He would be a nice pick. I hate that it is a LAC report.

didn't Elway get there in 2011? and what power did McDaniels have before that? either way he was part of a group that basically set the stage for this Bronco run.

Would be awesome.

The Broncos executed high-producing NFL Draft classes over the last three years, which finished #1 in the NFL in playtime and #2 in games started during 2010-12. There were nine primary starters from those draft classes, including three Pro Bowl players: LB Von Miller, WR Demaryius Thomas and OG Zane Beadles. The opening day roster of the 2013 Broncos had 18/25 starters from the draft classes from 2008-2012. There were also eight other Pro Bowl players who were acquired, signed or extended during his tenure: QB Peyton Manning (FA, 2012), SS Brian Dawkins (UFA, 2009–11), WR Brandon Lloyd (FA, 2009–11), RB Willis McGahee (FA, 2011), CB Champ Bailey (re-signed, 2011), DE Elvis Dumervil (re-signed, 2010), WR Brandon Marshall (re-signed, 2010), and OT Ryan Clady (1st round, 2008).

God dang he sounds good to me! Thanks for the info

Your preference would have been who?
Any experienced OC, Kubiak, Norv, Shanny. Such hire would tell me as a fan that the team is committed to winning the SB next season. This hire does the opposite for me, and that is unacceptable.

McDaniels had final say then Elway had final say. This Xander guy never had final say on the roster in Denver, not that it disqualifies him as a good candidate, just sayin'.

he would be ideal with Gamble off the table, Farmer would be a good 2nd option as well.

Has Kubiak looked for OC jobs? Kyle Shanahan, what is his track record that shows he's better than anyone else? And Norv Turner, what's he done lately to warrant a pass?

he helped develop Foles into a stud, thats good enough for me. develop our QB like that and we are cooking with gas
