GREAT PICK!!!! Lamar Miller!!!

This is a good pick. He will allow us lots of different options with our other players. Great value and I like that we went up to get our guy. The times are a' changing.

They took a gamble on a guy who is a tough runner with deceptive second-gear acceleration. Has very good vision and cutback ability, doing a nice job finding the run lanes. Follows his blocks and stays patient behind the line of scrimmage. Not overly explosive and goes down too easily. Some risk and reward with this pick.

He really won't be.

Kid is too soft and that shoulder is busted up more than he's letting people realize.

TRUST ME on that one.

He doesn't like contact and he avoids it at all cost. This is why I was so thankful he left Miami early for the draft.

He knows that his shoulder is beat up more than he wants people to realize. He wanted to get paid while he could. So he bolted early to get paid and if that shoulder doesn't work out then he walks away in a couple of years.

Do not like this pick at all.

I don't doubt you. But I think it's easy to see he's a fast mother****er. We need more speed and versatility in our offensive personnel. He may be soft, but he'll be the 3rd or 4th RB for this year, so we won't need too much durability from him. I'm excited to see how Philbin and Sherman can use the guy.

Instead of blatantly trusting you, why don't you explain how you know this info and the FO doesn't.

I think they got him more for KR/PR than anything else really. Maybe he contributes at RB but we'll have to wait and see on that. For now, I think they got him as a returner with a possible bonus at RB.

Good pick? We just signed a guy from the cfl, we already have depth in the rb corp. We could of signed peyton hillis for free and not waste a draft pick. This front office is clueless, our o is going to be boring and one dimensional.

Are you kidding me......this was a GREAT pick priod. Jeff is putting together one of the best Phinz drafts in years period. Clearly you need to look at the facts more.

Because it's no secret that I know players, families, boosters, and people well connected inside of the Miami program.

That shoulder is a major concern. And you don't have to be connected to Miami to watch this kid play and know that he's afraid of contact or that he hesitates in the backfield.

No matter how bad or good some fans may see this pick, 1 thing is obvious; Miller clearly upgrades the return game on KO and PR!!! I'm sure this pick was made with a plan on how Philbin and Sherman will use Miller. They had 1 night to adjust their draft board and obviously thought Miller was a value worth trading up for once he wasn't taken with the 1st pick in round #4.

To somewhat support JCane (sadly) A friend of mine who is 2nd in charge of college scouting for a team that is not in the AFC East (or the AFC all together) just texted me saying "Risky. Ireland is taking a lot of raw high ceiling low floor players. Must have absolutely zero confidence in the ability of the coaching stuff. Miller has serious injury concerns as well"

By coaching staff he means Miami Hurricanes.

I just texted him asking what his grade would be if not for the injury concerns but haven't heard back.

Saw that too but if his shoulder is ok he's a steal in the 4th.
