Oh, that's right...Class A baseball clubs that have long moved cities a bunch of times since I saw them 30 years ago (used to sit on the first baseline in Fort Lauderdale) and probably aren't where they used to be.

I love my dolphins and all but your comments were way off base. Im not comparing the two teams but the Canes have so many more accomplishments. The Dolphins have two freakin championships under there belt. How many canes dont make it to the pros? You could ask that with any college team. But lets ask how many HAVE made it? And not only made it but made it BIG. And you wanna talk about off years... 1973-2005 is a pretty HUGE gap at least thats what I think. Canes last championship....2001. So before you come...come correct.

Besides, the Dolphins in their league are the winningest team in Pro Sports since the AFL-NFL merger.

The Canes are not the winningest team in college football, and division one college championships are awarded by vote, not on the field, so so much for your 5 titles.

And if your talking about the greatest single season by a Florida sports team, its definitely thte 1972 Dolphins.

First of all I am not comparing NFL to COLLEGE (not minor league). I was just stating some facts to have the Canes back. This guy came on and said a bunch of false things about em. The canes have soooo much to be proud of. And they are proud of the RIGHT things.... CHAMPIONSHIPS. Not winning alot of freakin games which means nothing in the long run beacuse you only have two championships to show for it. And they were won before most people on this board were even alive. And you want to talk about the canes be voted in there championships? Does winning every game in your division 1A season not qualify them all of sudden? And even when they dont make it to the big dance, they succeed in humilating the other two unniversitys in our precious state. They may not have the most games won but i think there is only about two or three schools that have more championships.
