I like Sage as a backup, but that precisely where he needs to be this year.

Right now if Fiedler goes down we can throw away our season like last year, except that this year Buffalo and NE are real threat in the AFC east.

Well, I would say that sounds better than a QB playing LB... but that seems to have worked out rather well.
