Gurode contacts Dolphins

Miami always holds off on doing the right thing while the New England Patriots always 100% of the time do things to better their team. This is why we we are always watching the Patriots win the AFC East, while we stand around playing with ourselves. :idk:

Or because they have one of the best QBs to ever play the game.

Koppen interests me but I doubt we pay for any C. Benton is really going to have to earn his keep with this group.

Sent from my phone, so please forgive any typos.

.....Or luckiest. A great QB, no doubt, one of the best playoff QBs, probably, but one of the best QBs ever? There are to many QBs I would rate ahead of him to go that far.

So lucky he's taken 5 teams to the Superbowl.

If you can name 5 QBs better than Tom Brady, you're letting your hatred for the Patriots blind you.

Agreed and title games in the past 2 seasons with no WR's or defense. Tom Brady is the Patriots and is >>>>> then Bill Belechick fir there success IMHO.

Not knocking him as far less then he is, as I said he is a great QB. He was just on a team that was very well run with a defense that rarely made it tough on him...he also benefitted from one of the best pressure Kickers ever to play the game.

Brady is still a great QB, he is also one of the smartest QBs to play the game, and will be a HOF QB, but on being among the greatest to play the game...If allowed to take any QB in a game where the talent and coaching is equal, It would be many names, before I reached Brady...Sorry Just my opinion.

Brady is easily top 5...It shouldn't even be questioned.

Its open to debate. Not as open and shut as you suggest. For one thing, Brady (and Manning, Brees, Rodgers) play in an era where rules were changed to increase scoring. DB's can't make contact 5yds past the line of scrimmage.
Brady and the Pats would not have had the success they had playing against some of the old Steelers and Raiders defenses. Wes Welker never could have the career he had playing bump and run against guys like Lester Hayes and Mike Haynes or Kevin Ross and Albert Lewis.
Its a different game now. How would Marino's, Kelly's , Moon's and Elways' stats look playing with today's relaxed rules?

But the Dolphins have been making brief preliminary inquiries about the health/status of some available centers, though it remains to be seen if Miami will bring in any for visits.

Among the veteran free agents available: Dan Koppen, former Dolphin Samson Satele, Fernando Velasco, Brad Meester, Ryan Cook and David Baas.

He wasn't bad in Indy the last few years

You must've been watching the wrong games, because Satele straight up sucked in Indy.

Are you the one looking in my window?? Thats it, I'm putting up shades...

I'll take Marino and Manning. Other than that, I can't think of any other QB I'd take in their prime over Brady.

I'd also like to know the list of QB's you'd take over Brady.

They gotta sign a vet. Brenner is gonna get Tannehill killed.

Why be in such a hurry? Best to wait for roster cuts and the additional time to evaluate just how long it will take Pouncey to recover.
