Gus connected with Randy Moss!

Why was he able to come in and win the games he covered Culppeper on? Its cus he had a WR who could go downfield and get his long ball. We simply do not have a reciever like that. Boston is trying to make a comeback and Booker is more a possession type and Chambers gets double covered and cant seem to get down the field fast enough. I love our WR's but we simply do not have a fast reciever (welker maybe) who can get downfield to get his long ball. I think that is a large part of the problem.

BTW, I think there are alot of WR's who can get downfield in a hurry. In fact, the guy taking Moss's spot this year is a guy who can. Nate Burleson. There are plenty of WR's out there who can get downfield. Why in NE every year they have no names who get downfield to get Brady's long ball all the time!

And honestly, you are comparing Burleson to Moss? Not even in the same class.. Moss isnt just about speed.. Chambers is pretty speedy himself, he CAN outrun guys.. and he has, only Gus completely overthrew him.. But Moss is just on another level.. He makes things look so easy so people might not even get it when they see him play, but he is just a freakish specimen.. You could put a gorilla behind center and he could probably complete passes to Moss.. All you have to do is chuck and pray, and 99% of the time those prayers are answered.

Well, If I were picking a fantasy team right now, I would take Burleson over chambers, because although CC is fast, he is long legged fast, if he gets caught at the line of scrimmage he has a hard time getting downfield compared to other recievers. Watching Gilmore go long was a little pathetic.

And by the way, I havent seen chambers outrun anyone this preseason. Ive seen chambers make unbelieveable catches while getting slammed. I also have seen him covered tight alot downfield and no seperation. I have also seen all the recievers not turn around and read the blitz coming in on gus, they are suppose to break off their routes when that is happening. That is when Gus underthrows them.If they would just turn around, the ball would be caught.

You expect to win with Gus? Look dude if I believed that we could win more with Gus I would be a Guskateer too. Right now I believe we have a better chance winning with Feeley than with Gus. Just think if Feeley has a good year we know we have a QB for a year or two and we could focus on other positions in the draft, if not then we will never know if Feeley was the answer. I see no point in starting Gus, he sucks IMO and he is nothing more than a one year gap till we draft a QB next year. Seems like you arent changing our mind and we arent changing yours so I dont know what to say.
