Gus Will make the Pro Bowl

Bledsoe was good enough to keep Losman from palying. Looking good in Dallas. Brunell will prob. be starting in Wsh again. He has been looking impressive from what I hear!

I just say
"Keep the herd running, here come the poachers"

Bills suck! Final answer for you on this board!
:rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3:

The fact that your fellow finfans are even laughing for someone to even think Gus is going to be a probowler says it all. You just had to bring out Losman and talk smack because you are insecure w/ your qb situation.

Thanks for getting it back to Gus!

Who knows? Maybe this guy is right maybe he is wrong. All that matters is that in 20 weeks or so we will know!

I could see Gus throwing for 3500yds if he is healthy and 20+ TD's

The new rules make it alot easier

Heck, if he is named the starter, I hope you are right!

I doubt it very much though!

I just wanted to state for a bils fan to talk about the situation here like they are in much better shoes is funny.
Let it go and get back to Gus

I will say that Gus will finish in the middle of the pack in my opinion. I like the thought of a pro bowl, but I will not go out and predict it. Anything is possible. Who thought RW would lead the NFL in rushing behind our line?
Nobody here! Nobody!!!!

I am starting to put money in my piggy bank so I can become a VIP member and not have to read these predictions anymore. Gus a Pro Bowler?....yeah he is gonna through a 16 pound ball down the aisle at some pins. ;)

gus has the same chane of making the pro bowl as a snowball's chance in a microwave oven.

As every year begins, I am always the ultimate optimist. I see the potential, and understand the concerns we all have with the teams needs (OL, DB, etc). Yet, every year there is the team that comes out of nowhere to surprise everyone, and make a strong push into the playoffs, if not the Superbowl, (IE the Panthers 2 years ago with Delhomme at the helm).
Gus has been an effective QB in this league, and I feel has the Skills to do some great things. Unfortunately for him, and I'm sure many of us have felt the same way, he has just been in the wrong places at the wrong times, and never really been given the opportunity to really succeed. He has paid his dues, and been around the league, and will have a breakout Pro Bowl season (ala Rich Gannon). Rich himself was not considered the best of quarterbacks, until all the sudden he breaks out, and leads the Raiders to an unbeleivable season which will mark his legacy. I'm predicting Gus to have the same type of success, and turn in a season to remember for all Fin fans.

You heard it here First!

Peace!

:spit:  :rofl3: YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad to see, at least some support from my fellow believers out there. Of course it is a very optimistic veiw as I've already stated. But for those TRUE die hard fin fans (and I've got the TAT to prove it), you know what I'm talking about. I don't, or wouldn't, put the house on it, but lets go out on a limb and spice up these boards a little. Only my second thread and I'm glad just to see some new discussion, rather than bashing our Oline. I can take the heat, just wanted to be the first to throw it out there should it come true! And for our seasons sake I pray it does.

To all the haters, I don't get the all out bashing, I guess you all just want to have another miserable season. Hope to all the fins fans in misery!
Peace!

Way to go Moffius. It good to see some optimism, for a change. Even if it's unrealistic (or rather unlikely), it's nice to see a post (from a Dolfan) that doesn't look like it's coming from a division rival.

It's sad that had you said something terrible about the team, more posters would have sided with you. Keep up the optimism.

What did I say bad about the team???

I like the optimism, although I wouldn't bet a nickel on it. Other than Gus himself (1997), other journeymen who have made the Pro Bowl include: Jeff Blake, Kerry Collins, Trent Dilfer, Doug Flutie, Brian Griese, Brad Johnson, Testaverde, Rich Gannon, Trent Green, Ken O'Brien, Mark Rypien, Bobby Hebert, Jeff Hostetler, Steve Bono, Chris Chandler, Steve Buerlein, Elvis Grbac, Kordell Stewart, Jay Schroaeder, Wade Wilson, Dave Krieg, Don Majkowski . . .
