Chris Hogan, Jeff Fuller, Rishard Matthews, Pat Devlin, Josh Kaddu, Derrick Shelby and Jorvorsky Lane. I'm really pulling for Fuller...he could be a dominant receiver in this offense, especially with Tannehill at QB. on the flip side, Roberto Wallace is a goner.

I also like fuller - good size, seems like a pro, hope he makes it over the others.

Are you kidding? Kaddu? He made one play...I saw him miss a couple of others. Hogan showed up for a few, but missed a big catch down the sideline. Matthews made a few nice catches. He didn't make the team though...he has just earned himself a little more attention. He needs to take advantage of it. Fuller...he made like 1 catch. That isn't getting you on the team. What exactly did Lane do tonight?

I don't think ANYONE did anything significant enough tonight to warrant making the team based on their performance...

Yeah I don't think anyone MADE the team, but on the WR front, Wallace and Gates dropped. Gates had that nice PI call which reminds of his speed, but in all other respects he's really trying to get cut.

Wallace proved that he's not consistent and has not taken the next step. At this point I would cut Wallace for Fuller or Matthews and be ok with it, assuming they can be ok on special teams. Hogan also helped himself, or at least ensured that if you send him to the PS he won't be a Dolphin.

Marlon Moore is a tough one. He has speed, and he has been making catches. Do you cut him for a younger guy or keep him?

For now even though Pruitt was absent tonight, I still have him likely to make the roster based on being a ST standout.

I'd bet money Fuller doesn't even make the PS. We have too many Wr's ahead of him right now. Matthews, Moore, Hogan, Cunningham?

Obviously Devlin was making the roster. Shelby is 2nd string, so yeah. Lane did ok and Messam also did ok.

Roberto Wallace isn't going anywhere.

Fuller gives me that Derek Hagan feeling all over again. Can't catch to save his life.

Kaddu and Freeny are the smaller quicker LB's needed for this defense and can see them making the team just because of their speed to cover the flat. Guyton, Misi and Trusnik are all way too slow for the 4-3 Defense. While they may be good against the run they can't cover for the life of them. This Defense is going to get exposed in the short passing game. This a passing league not made for the slower LB's. I realize this is the pre-season, but, you can see too many problems already with LB position. Kaddu and Freeny aren't starter types, but at least they played liked they belong in the 4-3. I'm not sure Pruitt played in the game, But liked what I saw from Matthews again. He showed great hands and tremendous strength, which IMO is perfect for the WCO!!! Fuller remains the enigma at the WR position, he took some snaps with the 1st team and am not sure if it was due to his familiarity with Tannehill. Fuller is a long shot but did make several catches over the course of the game giving you reason to believe he can make the roster or perhaps P/S. Devlin; I think makes the team. For the 2nd straight week he showed poise and complete knowledge of the system. he was much more accurate against Carolina than he was against Tampa. He showed me, he belongs on the roster. Too many people think he is going to make it back onto the P/S. That is wishful thinking IMO. Devlin's rights are held by Miami 2 more years after 2012. Why pay an over the hill vet, 2 million dollars (Garrard), when Devlin gives you everything he can, except experience as a back up QB. Lane made a strong case for himself. He played well. It's going to be a tough call between Slaton and Thigpen. Thigpen made a strong bid to make the final roster with his chance against Carolina, he caught a beautiful pass for 20+ yards and made several good KO returns.

I agree with this, why bother with keeping Garrard? If they don't keep Moore, then just keep Devlin because we are not likely to win much this year anyway and Garrard will be waiting by the phone anyway.

I agree with Fulller. I like him but he has to much trouble catching the ball. We have too many average WRs already dont need another. Matthews will make the team over him because he could play alittle SP and Hogan might make it also but i think he is a long shot. Shelby look ok and devlin looked ok too. Was disappointed with Martin and Vernon last night.

I think one guy that makes the squad is Thigpen the RB. A couple of decent returns and has some speed and quickness to help in the passing game.

I think this is literally the first time I have agreed with all of a Dr. Phin post, I'm in shock right now! It was the 2nd pre season game and the biggest things I took out of it was we are still in as much trouble on the right side of the line as last year, and I do have a growing concern about our D.

Hogan, Fuller and Matthews are not going to make the 53 man roster. Not when we have Naanee, Bess, Pruitt, Hartline, Moore and others ahead of them. Kaddu only made 1 play. Other then that he couldn't set the edge and was penalized. Practice squad maybe.

Actually I think Guyton just sucks, from what I remember about him in NE he's a very fast LB.

The only problem with Devlin is that Green Bay kept only 2 QB's last year. Philbin's mind set may be the same as that's what he know's and maybe prefers. If that's the case its RT and MM.

Yeah, but Green Bay didn't have a rookie QB either....and they had Aaron Rodgers. There's a reason that most NFL teams carry 3 QBs.

Those two suck donkey balls. The other three are mediocre. They aren't good enough to say their spots are secure over ANYONE.

Mark it down.....Roberto Wallace is not making this team. He can't separate and he showed it last night. Fuller on the other hand was open and made every catch thrown to him last night. I'm not saying one will make it over the other I just think you are going to see guys you're counting out right now make the team.
