OK. These 3 men get a room in a hotel for $30. They pay and go to the room. The clerk realizes that he overcharged the men by 5 dollars so he gives the bellboy 5 dollars to give to the men. The bellboy doesn't want to split the $5 three ways so he gives each man $1 and keeps $2 for himself. Now that means that each man paid $9. $9x3=$27 plus the $2 that the bellboy kept equals $29. What happened to the other dollar??
