Happy Ted Wells Day!

good grief i will need 2 hours to read all that...i'd bet money olineman a is dallas thomas

initial take for what i have read though is they are not finding the miami dolphins organization liable...but specific individuals for their conduct and not adhering to signed behavior codes presented by the team...

initial short take at least...reading the summary ha ha

Conclusion
As all must surely recognize, the NFL is not an ordinary workplace.
Professional football is a rough, contact sport played by men of exceptional size, speed,
strength and athleticism. But even the largest, strongest and fleetest person may be
driven to de
spair by bullying, taunting and constant insults.
We encourage the creat
ion of
new workplace conduct rules and guidelines that will help
ensure that players respect
each other as professionals and
people
.

Not surprised by this one bit...I could have done a better job at investigating this.

No, it sounded like someone who was no longer on the team... "during his time on the team" was mentioned in relation to the player. Who were some OL that left after last year? I know if wasn't Long, lol.

Looks like Martin's mommy and daddy bought him the report he wanted. Can't say I am surprised.

I haven't read the whole thing, but skimming through it, I would think Jim Turner could be suspended or outright fired. The team hired John Benton and Ben Martin, so they were obviously preparing for a situation where Turner is gone. I would also assume Richie's 8 game suspension will be deemed enough. Pouncey and Jerry might get suspended a game or two, also makes you wonder if the team might look to trade Pouncey to get rid of everyone involved.

I think the rest of the team and Philbin escaped any major penalties. There will be a new workplace policy, but no fines or draft pick removal.

Just my guess on this.

So....are the Dolphins in trouble or not...I don't care about either of these ass clowns, only on how this will impact the phins in 2014...

I don't think there will be punishment for the organization. This is what I see happening:

- Incognito will leave in FA
- Martin will be traded/cut
- Jerry will be cut
- Pouncey will receive a 1-2 game suspension
- Turner will be fired
- The organization will appoint some sort of HR guy to oversee the locker room and tamper down on any rough talk and provide guidance and assistance to young players. The locker room may even be monitored in ways it never was before. Expect more regular check-ins with players to discuss any issues they may have with teammates.

The reason there won't be any sanctions against the organization or coaches is because Martin never told anyone what was happening, so they aren't culpable.

Peace out Jim Turner....I'll be surprised if this guy isnt fired

Dolphins’ Offensive Line Coach Jim Turner was aware of the running
“joke” that Player A was gay, and on at least one occasion, he participated in the
taunting. Around Christmas 2012, Coach Turner gave the offensive linemen gift bags
that included a variety of stocking stuffers. The gifts included inflatable female dolls for
all of the offensive linemen except Player A, who received a male “blow-up” doll.
Martin and another player reported that they were surprised Coach Turner did this;
Martin further said that he was offended that Turner had endorsed the humiliating
treatment of Player A by participating in it. Incognito and others agreed that this incident
with Coach Turner occurred. When interviewed, Turner was asked if he gave Player A a
male blow-up doll. He replied, “I can’t remember.” We do not believe that Turner
forgot this incident, which many others recalled.

While it may be wrong, it is funny :chuckle:

Report implicates Turner for giving a male blow-up doll to one lineman ( not Martin, even though he was surely jealous)

I'd have to bet Samuda but idk.

LMAO!

NFL locker rooms will now resemble American Girl Tea Parties.
