Had a great discussion with Dolphins WR @brianhartline who is making a full recovery from an appendectomy. He's going to be ready for camp.

Good to hear Hartline is going to be fine. Yesterday Rosenhaus said he is already back working out at the Dolphins facility. It is nice to finally hear what was going on so people can stop with the crazy speculation that he had "Gonorrhea", "Botched vasectomy" or had " a testicle removed". Having your appendix removed is a big deal, but thankfully it wasn't as bad as some here had been guessing it was. Can't wait to see him back on the field 100% in training camp.

This is great news. I thought it was Castration for a minute. I'm glad that he still has both balls because he will need it as a No 1 Receiver to make the tough catches over the middle of the field and also to get vertical and make the difficult catch

Why the secrecy? Why couldn't they have just told us that he's having an appendectomy weeks ago. Winner of the Bill Bellichick hoodie award for pre-season secrecy.

i had mine removed at 26. Simple procedure. Two days in the hospitol and two weeks recovery time.
Don't know why they tried to hide it.
Now if it burst and you don't get treatment immediately it can be fatal.

I had mine removed just before my senior year of football. I was out a month but the surgical procedures have changed since then. Maybe his appendix is what was making him fall down?

Not many Fin fans in Powder Springs I would imagine. I'm in Macon. I know the other 3 fans we have here.

Perhaps there were other issues there as well.

if it burst and he could not get to the emergence room immediately other organs can be affected and a minor surgery can become a serious operation.

I know of two more Fin Fans in Marshallville...small world.

Indeed

As long as he comes into camp in shape, that is all that matters. He better have been hitting that playbook hard tho in his time off.

Geez why hide it? You would think he had the Richard Gere procedure instead
