I think that's a given.
not really. he says there's no way leinart falls past #2, so apparently houston or san fran will be trading down. kiper is pretty right-on with these sorta things

I think Leinart could go anywhere from 1 to 4...it all depends on trades too....there's no sure thing that he'll go 1 or 2 but I think he'll be top 5.Having said that...I'm not a big fan of his.

Ozzy rules!!
 :guitar:

Would love to get the chance to draft him but the price is too steep.

there's the first down!

Another personal foul ticky tack call for a hit on a QB.

THey might as well put skirts on them. This is gettng ridiculous!

There..now they for a real 1st down.

I'm not going to laugh because we may have done the same thing last season.

On Sporting News Radio they said that if New Orleans losses to Tampa Bay and the Texans beat San Fran, then New Orleans would get the fist pick....I think the Saints would take Bush. New Orleans would get the 1st pick based on strength of schedule if this were to happen.

Herm Edwards changed his saying from "We play to win the games" to "We play to get Reggie Bush"

Word is they don't like any of the QBs in the draft. They don't like Leinart because of his arm strength, which has me scratching my head because they absolutely love Rivers whose arm isn't any better.
Well factor the money into the equation also. Rivers and Leinhart arent much different in their measureables like arm and accuracy and touch but start talking about committing 25m in guaranteed money as opposed to the fractional cost rivers has less and of course they'd love rivers. i would too for that price differential.

But as Kastofsna said they already have too much $ tied up in pennington so it'll take some major manuevering to make that work. My guess is taht if the NYJ land anywhere in the top 3 they will look to trade down and hopefully not be able to. That would really bang up their cap. :D

Houston could always select Leinhart and just dump Carr who is due an 8m bonus which would also extend his contract another 3 years. The only drawback to that is the one year the Texans kept carr upright and allowed < 50 sacks they won 8 games and Carr loked good. That alone tells you where their real need is but I guess alot depends on how they feel Carr has progressed and what they think of Leinhart.
