Heads Up :: Dolphins v. Falcons Replay TODAY

That is my hope. I think Henne is the better option but by no means does that mean I am rooting for Moore to fail. I love his mobility, and he showed some toughness and some accuracy that really has me interested in seeing him again. Once people drop their agendas and open their eyes, they shoudl realize both QB's, despite having negative moments, had their fair share of positve ones and with a new system in place, take those positives and build on them going forward.

Amen!

Why can't you sell Josh Freeman? He's smart, articulate, goal-direct with "a plan" since childhood, good looking and in today's society, being bi-racial can't hurt. That kid's got everything going for him. Of all the QBs that've come out in the last few years, of course, you know my greatest regret is Rodgers, but next would be Freeman- I sure wish we had him.

Josh Freeman is almost too good. Sanchez looks like a guy you want to hate.

Goddamnit.

I just typed up a whole post on why you can't really sell Freeman...at least coming out of college.

****ing database errors. I got trolled.

Copy and paste. If I spend time writing something, all it takes is a second to copy that. I hardly ever comment online with it because like you, I learned the hard way.

that reminds me, no clay sightings. interesting dontcha think?

I thought about it last night. I think Sparano really needed to see the receivers last night because there is so much competition in that area. Clay is gonna have a role regardless.

I'm watching the replay of the game on the NFL network.

Henne's first pick should have been a catch by Fasano. It was thrown behind him but catchable. The Falcons dropped back a DE into coverage and it seemed to have confused the play.

On the Falcon's first TD, Paul Soliai meets Mike Turner one on one at the one yard line and loses the battle.

After the first Falcon drive, we take out the entire 1st string defense. The Falcons keep picking on Nate Ness and Culver.

Henne's 2nd interception was a horrible decision off a play action pass. Since we have zero yards rushing I have no idea why we thought a play action pass would work. D Bess had three guys covering him and Henne forced it.

I just saw a good reason to have kept Ricky or Ronnie as D Thomas does not see a blitz coming and blows the block but Henne runs out of it and then throws a incomplete.

The Falcons are knocking back our OL. Not even close.

I see the first running of the Daboll swing pass to D Thomas that P Hillis caught so much of last season.

Henne hits Hartline on a wide open 44 yard TD. No one can figure out why he was so open, but I bet the Falcon coaches do.

The Falcon 2nd string offense keeps picking on our 2nd string defensive backs.

B Sapp picks off a pass, really poor decision by the Falcons QB, their WR had 3 Dolphins within 5 yards of him.

First play by Matt Moore is a roll out, he seems really mobile. Got himself after a certain sack two play later.

Falcon DL is still killing our OL. Sheets is hit in the backfield.

Our 2nd string DL is starting to overpower their OL, also using LB blitzes.

Gates and Sheets are doing little on kick off returns.

C Clay is play TE and FB, On Moore's first completion to Wallace, Clay drops back from the TE spot to a FB. I think this is how C Clay is going to be used.

Moore does throw nice looking passes even on a miss to C Gates.

Our back up NT R Fields is playing well.

Jimmy Wilson is playing well as in Odrick.

C Gates does not catch a punt nor does he call for a fair catch. The ball goes right between his legs and he is no longer returning punts.

Matt Moore is not only mobile but he has touch on the football. He just gets out of his 3rd sack and makes yard running. Smart player with good instincts.

2nd half coming up.

Well, with 11 seconds in the 2nd, Matt Moore sees a wide open Wallace and hits him for a TD.

Both TD passes were on totally blown coverages.

Our QB have all of our rushing yards.

Livas was a hand away from breaking off a big return on the kick off.

Our running backs are still being hit behind the LOS.

Considering that Matt Moore has only been here a week, he is clearly outplaying Henne.

Moore throws a pick downfield which was still a decent pass, Moore was hit at the end of his throwing motion.

The Falcons have now thrown to 9 different players.

Now 10 players, they are killing our secondary and our DL is starting to get pushed back on runs and handled on passes.

We Blitz and knock Wilson out of the game with them on about the 12th yard line.

P Livas is tackled by the Falcon's kicker on the kick off or could have broke that one.

Our running game makes 6 yards with Sheets on a pitch to the outside.

Matt Moore keeps playing well. He is making first downs including one on 4th down on a nice pass to C Gates.

As the 3rd Qtr runs out, Matt Moore throws a bullet to C gates for a TD.

I've almost caught up to the game so I'll let it run for a while.

Delvin comes in as our QB. Has a semi drop on his first pass.

The Falcon's 4th QB is in. He sucks.

Philip Livas runs back the punt 75 yards for a TD.

Grigsby flashes on one play. One.

Our OL is being knocked around. D Franks almost runs back the punt.

Even their 4th string QB is completing passes on us.

This is boring and depressing.....End transmission

Clay also played TE and a number of times moved from the TE spot to the FB spot. That is his future.

We also saw the first example of the Daball Swing pass that P Hillis caught 28 of last year (out of 61 catches). Hillis calls is a "wide pass route". I finally found the NFL.com video.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000...is-enjoys-success-after-navigating-tough-road

Look at the lower video, not the top one. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-network-total-access/09000d5d820db266/Versatility-of-Hillis

I'd expect to see D Thomas and R Bush catching a lot of balls from this pass route.
