Anyone else that's out of state hearing alot of Henne talk at work? I've overheard quite a bit of talk today, and several people who are wishing their QB was as good as Henne. Quite a nice feeling to know that we aren't a laughingstock after last night's game.

Most people I've heard are chalking the defensive collapse up to Brady being on fire, rather than our D sucking.

I am so happy for Henne. He has worked hard and put up with a lot of grief and insults. The guy will still make mistakes, but now we can see his talent in the right system. Hopefully he can keep this offense running with the pass until the running game starts to show up.

Brady is stealing most of the headlines but Henne has gotten some props from the sports talking heads. Only guy I remember still criticizing Henne was John Clayton. Romo is catching the most crap out of all of the QB's.

We should still be in a wait and see mode with Henne. I don't want to sound like a Henne hater but admit I was ready to give up on him after week 4 (Pats game) of last year. I ws all ready to roll by having someone hol up Chad Pennington' corpse (thanks Hoops) after that game. I like what I saw from him last night, it wasn't perfect but it was good. If Henne is any good he will continue to improve as he gets more experience in this new offense. Remember this was only one game in it. However, we need to also remember the more film there is available the more other teams will be clued in to what we are trying to do on offense, if Henne's regresses as the season goes on, bub bye.

Henne was a pleasant surprise last night. I want him to succeed. He needs to improve in the redzone. Dont know if all those shoulder throws and fades were calls or changes at the LOS. Either way, improved accuracy would help down there. Also, you don't take that sack. Just throw it away. Hated to see the garbage int at the end.

He looked a alot better on the other 80 yds of field. Nice audibles. Great passes. Aggressive reads. Dropping the ball in over the shoulders. Managing Marshall. You could see henne and Marshall get quite colorful on the sideline. Appeared henne was standing his ground. Next series henne hits Marshall for a long play.

Who would have thought henne would have been our best player on the field last night?

Matt Ryan better than Henne? Since everyone compares drafting Long and Henne over Ryan and Baker. Lets see how this one plays out huh?

So far, Henne 1 Ryan 0

I did not look at the exact numbers (Brady and Henne had), but if Welker/Brady dont have that 99 yard touch down, than Henne would have had more yards I think. I dont like what/if BS, but just something to chew on. I am cautiously optimistic about what kind of season Henne will have

Sorry if this has already been posted. Havent finished reading all the posts yet.

Agreed and for the record I heard a lot of henne buzz around the office as well today. I live in NE. In fact6 i heard one call call him a QB who can scramble.

Take away that play and they were about even.

The biggest difference is Miami had to settle for a FG once and couldn't punch it in on the possession prior to the Welker play.

Miami fixes those red zone problems and it's a different game.

B.Marshall said he looked like Micheal Vick out there.

Looks like the Broncos fans' brief honeymoon period with Orton is over. IMO, if it was up to the fans they'd probably throw in a pick with Orton in a trade for Henne after both games last night.

Funny Orton Bashing thread (but more or less like the majority of them all offseason)

Vaark you can't be anymore on point with your Orton posts. I was told I was talking out of my *** when I said I wanted Henne over him. Even if Henne stunk it up last night he probably still has a better night than Orton did. Thank goodness we passed on that drunk of a QB.
