Among quarterbacks expected to change teams this offseason, there’s Peyton Manning, Matt Flynn, and everyone else.
Chad Henne is reportedly getting the most attention of everyone else.

Alex Marvez of FOXSports.com reports that Henne is drawing the strongest tampering consideration of any of the “1A” quarterback options. Also in that group: Kyle Orton, Jason Campbell, David Garrard, and Vince Young.

Henne expects to land a deal between $4-5 million, which is more than a traditional backup usually gets. Marvez writes that the Jets are considered a “strong contender” to land Henne. Seattle, Kansas City, and Denver are mentioned as other possible fits.

I'll always remember that Monday Night game against the Jets.  Just about everything else about Henne I'd like to forget.

I have to think Kansas City is the favorite. Daboll is there and Henne appears to be one of the few QBs who can understand him and actually likes him. Seattle also would have a reasonably good chance, perhaps a better chance to start for him.

He better start if he goes to Seattle. I wish him luck. I'm betting it would have been more of the same here, but I regret we didn't get to see him a full season this year in a different offense, cause the first couple of games he looked better than usual. Oh well, it is what it is now. Good luck, Chad.

Henne is a good stop gap QB that is at least functional with a good run game. Thankfully we have moved on.
Maybe a change of teams will take him to the next level. He might be a late bloomer.
There is such a scarcity of great QB's teams will still look at his potential and think he can be fixed.
I think KC will be his team.

$4M ?? ... someone's in for an expensive hosing

Hope its the Jetz, Sparano, & Rex ... Der Dynmaic Duo ... Sancheez & Heine

No great surprise. He's a decent backup at worst and they can make 4m a year. Still scope for improvement considering he spent 3 years getting "coached" by David Lee

Lets hope it isn't the Jets he goes too.

It'll be of great benefit to us if Sanchez is starting for NYJ next season. If Chad goes there then he'll likely take over their starting QB position in no time considering he is a better QB than #6

teams will love him until that 4th quarter when he throws 3 interceptions to let the other team come back & win!

Just picture the NFL as a crappy, run down bar. There's a bunch of guys and only very few girls in the bar.

And then picture each NFL team as one of those guys, desperate and horny for any action.

and then the girls are Quarterbacks. even the fat, skanky girls have guys buying them drinks trying to get some action. That's how Chad Henne gets $4mil per year.

The Jets clearly think we're fools for not sticking with the offensive duo of the century: Sparano and Henne.
