Henne expected to make more than $4 million per season

Wish him well, he sucked here and he totally had me on the bandwagon on the MNF against the Jets, but it all went downhill since.

Hope he can turn his career around and hope he has recovered well from his injury.

Always was a classy guy and he loved the Dolphins.

He better start if he goes to Seattle. I wish him luck. I'm betting it would have been more of the same here, but I regret we didn't get to see him a full season this year in a different offense, cause the first couple of games he looked better than usual. Oh well, it is what it is now. Good luck, Chad.

I agree.....Henning supressed him and didnt groom him well. He showed signs of great improvement in the first few games and i would have liked to see him play a full season too before we toss in the towel.

It would be amazing to be able to work a job that you suck at and get rewarded with a huge contract. Wouldn't it be great to make millions for being a poor performing employee? Only in the NFL.

Normally there is concern if your QB goes to a division rival but not this time. If Henne goes to the Jets joining Thigpen in Buffalo, that is a clear indication of just how bad the QBing has been.

Lol this is speculation if I've ever heard it. Almost as bad as saying "Henne expects to be a quarterback in 2012"

Tell me this who deserves more money - Henne or Flynn? And you know Flynn is going to get paid more, but Henne has done a lot more.

Hopefully he will continue to suck wherever he goes. Remember, Steve Young sucked when he played for Tampa Bay.

I personally like henne and think he has potential so some may say I'm biased, but even henne *****s have to admit he's one of the 32 best qb's in the league as of now, it says something that he's more coveted than Orton and Campbell who both were opening day starters last season, Seattle would be a great fit in my opinion

Henne looked good at the start of the season; it's the rest of the team that sucked! Behind a poor o-line and with not much of a running game Henne had no problem throwing for 300 yards, even with Marshall dropping every other pass. With the benefit of an improved (somewhat) o-line, running game, and defense, Moore could only average about 200 yards per game. Henne's INTs in the few games he played weren't all his fault. Moore fumbled 14 times in 12 games. The main problem (besides poor red zone playcalling and execution) was that Marshall didn't like Henne and it showed on the field.

Lame argument. Get back to me when you are one of the 40 best performers in the world at what you do (in a field that millions of people try every year too) and then you'd have a right to complain about Henne making millions.

Yeah and what did he do against the Texans and Browns? Nothing. He sucks.

Flynn. We already know Henne sucks.

Aside from the eye-opening differences in mobility, leadership and interaction with teammates, it became starkly obvious very fast that Moore was a lot quicker processor of information than Henne. Not necessarily smarter, but just a faster thinker. Henne's got the tools, but locked onto his receivers even before Henning, his beloved wildcat and that infernal 3second clock got in his head. No question in my mind he's better than Sanchez, Tebow, TJackson and some others, but that's relatively speaking. I just don't think he can process information rapidly enough to be a cut above.

Now as far as commanding $4million, that's a lot of Benjamins but still, considering the injury rate for starters and the fact that there are only 32 second string QBs, which puts him into an elite field of 64 in the world, from a buyer's market POV, that asking price is not totally outrageous. :idk:

The real question is why do we care what Henne will be paid if / when he signs with another team? He is not going to be paid by the Dolphins, so what does it matter. Let it go.

For me, I wish him the best. He gave us his best when he was here, and did not cause problems or embarrass the organization with attitude or behavioral problems. Some of his issues at QB were not his fault (Henning & Lee) and some were. He tried and it didn't work out for him here. No hard feelings, time to move on. IF he get's 4 million from some other team...good for him. He seems like a nice guy. Just not the QB this franchise needed.
