I really admire the Henne and Sparano supporters.

You have to wonder if they allow mediocrity in their own lives. Those are the people that get a bill for something they have no idea what its for and simply pay it because its a bill, instead of inquiring about it.

Henne is only good in the first half when the game is scripted. When he has to improvise and make a play late in the game, he fails. He still can't execute a 2 minute drill. We cannot consistently win with Henne. Nice guy, bad player.

Hes also fairly good in between the 20's, then lays an egg in the redzone as well all see every week. I would like to keep him as a back-up. He's good enough to be a back-up

Henne will be a career back up and hopefully it will come with the Dolphins after they complete a trade for Carson Palmer..then it's hello clipboard Chad!!!

Carson Palmer is not a savior. He's as much of a quitter as Ricky Williams was, and at this point in his career he's half as good at his position.

Even though Chad has improved his game, it hasn't improved enough for him to keep his starting job, when we need a big play from him, he fails to deliver. Wins are what you are going to be judged by and thus far Chad has a losing record and losing QB's don't last long in the NFL's what have ya done for me lately?

I never said he was a savior, Jesus is a savior, no NFL player is. What Palmer is...he is a damn good QB with a strong arm, has command in the huddle, and can throw touch passes and make big plays when needed. Just like getting a new offensive coordinator has helped the offense, so too will a pro bowl QB.

Here's the thing, Henne threw 4 passes and had 4 incompletions?

Well there was 1 completion, but it was a pick.

Henne lost this game, along with Carpenter.

Has Tony really gotten a fair shake this year? Did he really want Henne as his QB all along or was it Ireland decision not to pursue other QB's in free agency?

Palmer was these things. There was a point in time where he was elite, but since 2006 he's had a lot of yards, a lot of TD's, a lot of picks, and not a lot of wins. The only competitive fire seems to be used to combat his own team, not the opponent.

Henne lost it..it was there for the taking...a first down on your 45 yardline and two measly first downs and you're in FG range??? Are you kidding me? Carpenter did a good job of keeping the ball out of the very dangerous Joshua Cribbs hands all afternoon and most of his kick offs were touchbacks.

If Ireland wanted to pursue another QB to truly challenge Henne, we'd have another QB. Kind of like Wanny, Fiedler, Spielman and Feeley 2004.

I will be honest though, I think Matt Moore is a real solid pickup, a guy who could easily provide competent QB play in a pinch but potential upside he may not have reached yet. But he was never brought in to challenge Henne, he was just brought in if Henne played himself out of the job. And unfortunately for all involved, Henne has been just good enough to keep his job.
