O.K. so I usually come on this board and read everyday. Just to see how the team was doing or peoples opinions. I know this is another "Henne" thread, but if anyone looked at the game. I think he is positively progressing. For instance, the first thing that popped out at me was that he actually was keeping his head up and looking down field when pressured. Last year that was one of his biggest issues and one thing most mentioned on this site. Now did he have a stellar game? By all means "NO", but if this was a real game with all the play calling and starters, he would have had a better game than most think. Am I defending him "NO", but what he is what we have this year and everyone needs to realize that. Stop nitpicking every little thing he does. When he fixes something, then we just find something else to prove our points as fans. Yes, the second INT was a bad pass. To be honest, I just think he was trying to make a play. I don't know his thoughts, but at least he cares. That means he has character and wants to do good. But, just like in life, if you constantly keep getting beat up by people it tends to wear on you. At some points he probably trying to prove him self too much. The same thing any of us would do if we were in his shoes.

There comes a point in time where after watching someone you say he will never be a top 15 quarterback. I root for Henne and understand its preseason game 1. But he just doesn't pass the eyeball test. Never will in my opinion

Yeah, Henne only starred down his receiver for the first 30 seconds vs through the entire play. Honestly, he has got to stop that or he will not succeed in this league.

softee vanilla. thats all i gotta say. fasano is a jerk.

You can want to do good all you want, but if you lack accuracy and decision making, it does not matter. I am not trying to knock your post, but how many regurgitated excuses can possibly be made for this guy before we realize that he is not progressing?

Henne's 2nd int was horrid, and his TD came on broken coverage and he still under threw the WR.

Me and you saw the same game last night. The bess throw was bad but thats the only negative I got from his performance. I saw an improved henne with good pocket awareness. Everybody acts like they didnt see him escape on a couple of biltzes, one was a pass to bess which was dropped and the other he ran for the first down. He did pretty good without 3 of the best player in the offense. And yes I am a Henne Believer.

What progression? He still made inaccurate throws, and still had staring contests with his wide outs. He looks exactly the same as last year though 8 preseason pass attempts.

Sorry ladies and gents...with Henne as QB, Miami will average 10 points a game this year.
