Herald reporting leaked logo confirmed

The other day someone wrote it and Armando wrote it again in this article; "The mascot will be parallel to the ground". Some of the people that have been mocking it up on helmets have done it so the dolphin almost looks like it's nose is facing the air. The angle makes a big difference. The angle is supposed to look more like the this on the helmet:

A gray facemask is a heck of a lot better then a white one too.

I don't understand how the logo is "gay". I mean you've gotta be pretty insecure to take it that far, but even so, it's a f***ing dolphin! How manly is that ever going to be? Give me a break, some of you need to realize its 2013, and not 1969.

It's not necessarily that the Dolphin needs to look "manly". To me, it's more that logo should look aggressive or stalwart. Or just plain ol' classic. It should elicit qualities that you would want in your favorite football team such as confidence, pride, toughness, character and tradition. Football is, after all, a very aggressive and demanding sport that takes the blood, sweat and tears of the entire organization just to have a chance to sniff the playoffs.

It may not be as important as what players we acquire in the offseason, but I think it plays a factor in feeling like a winning team; especially when a logo is done right.

Is there anyway someone can photoshop the new logo onto a helmet with a white face mask and a Navy Blue stripe as rumored and post it on here?

Well....it's got pride covered......

Does anyone pick a team because of a logo? (serious question, seems an odd reason to me).

If you were from South Florida, I would agree. Being that you are from overseas, do you not see how that is a valid question? And you met Marino on the greens in the UK, or in the states? That's a pretty slick way of being "recruited" to the team lol.

Yeah, i'd like to see it.... we have to go by what Crazy said a while back. White facemask with a fat Aqua stripe going down the middle of the helmet and two thinner navy blue stripes on each side of the Aqua stripe.

I hated the old logo. Not crazy about this one....as long as it looks good on a hat.....

I can't imagine how it could possibly look good on a hat. I know, i was waiting for a hat-suitable logo too...

It'll grow on all of us. Even the Marlins logo grew on me.

Moral of the story: New era. Let's get this logo associated with getting to and winning Super Bowls..
