Here are some guys to look at that might get cut/traded...

I've heard of pretty much everyone on that list & half of them are undrafted rookies. If we're looking for a safety depth Jerome Woods or Matt Ware would fit.

I think Adelius Thomas is a starter for Baltimore. I doubt they'd cut him. And isn't Quinn Grey the 3rd stringer in Jax? I thought they liked him alot too.

They're not going to cut him. Many here view him as a star LB. Cutting him will leave them short handed at OLB.

Walker could help our cb depth for the right price.

Incognito wont get cut unless they reach an injury settlement cause I believe he busted his knee again. If hes healthy hes staying. He was just picked this year.

Ware I doubt will be cut by Philly. They spent a day 1 pick on the guy just last year.

A. Thomas is staying unless its for cap purposes. Im not aware that balt has any cap issues.

Boo Williams is starting TE for N.O. I doubt he goes.

Taylor stubblefield is having a great camp. He should latch on with the bears given their lack of wr depth.

Brackins, Frazier, Thornton and a handful of others were just picked this year. Brackins especially i doubt goes anywhere considering he was a moss-like player at the Jr college level. I was appalled he last til day 2 on draft day after his combine.

He's on the Panthers. Smith-Gardner-Colbert-Proehl-Carter

This isn't the first time I've heard about Boo not making the team. Ernie Conwell is the current starter.

Conwell cant catch poop though. Therefore, since williams is the better receiving threat there's no way he will get cut. Williams started last year and the only reason I can think that would change is cause N.O. wants a better blocking TE. I still dont think Williams would get cut though given the lack of pass catching te's available.

While some of those may not get cut....I really like the initiaive you took on researching up those players. Even if you got this from someone else's work, it's a list worth looking at.

Once again...there are some guys that will likely stick with their teams, unless they are traded, as I don't feel guys like Russell, Ware and maybe Stubbelfield will just get flat out cut.....it's not out of the realm of posibility though.

Again...either way, good job of compiling a list this long.

Richie Incognito - OL Rams
Will not/cannot get cut, I don't think he has even signed a contract yet. He was drafted in the 3rd round this year out of Nebraska I think.

You're dead on with Krazy Richie...the guy was a 3rd round pick that
refuses to sign a contract....he's asking for a contract in the range of a 1st round pick. He has stated in an interview that he's very comfortable going back into the draft next year rather than "sign a contract that's below what I'm worth"....those in quotes are his actual words. ...he nuts....he was kicked OFF the team in Nebraska and didn't even play last year ( I believe it was for numberous fights with not just teammates but basically anyone who was standing close to him..at any given moment)...the NUTS. (oh, I hope he doesn't read this, track my IP and come to my house and beat me up. )

he hasn´t even signed his rookie contract yet, he was a 3rd rounder but i read St.Louis only offered 4th round money

Chad Owens is a good player. If he gets cut, I'd take him but I doubt it.

nice research lee..

I dont agree with a lot of the guys that you have mentioned being cut... ie, adalius thomas, fincher, brackins, chad owens...

but it's a nice list to look at and see where we might be able to fill holes.

after looking at the list I've noticed these players as one's who are worth a tryout (although half of them are likely not to get cut):

Alfred Fincher, Matt Ware, Andre Frazier, Rod Davis, Jerome Woods (he's gotten old quick but he's still worth a look to see if he's healthy), Larry Brackins (again I've read reports that while raw, they really like him), Chad Lavalais (Saban knows this guy already), Matt Askew, Adailus Thomas (if this guy is released he should just be signed if he passes a physical, he can be a very good player for us but again is likely not to get cut)

I'll never have J.R. Russell on any list that is made for players I'd want...while this guy had tons of talent, he acted like a combination of Moss and TO....while still in college. He walk off the field during a game once. Got into 2 shouting matches with the coaches [/B]during games (i actually witnessed one of those) and was suspended at least once from the team. I dislike him very much. Not a player I'd be interested in....EVER!

seen alot of Jim Leonhard in college at wisconsin...he has pretty good speed and good cover skills. if he was cut, hopefully thr fins will take a look at him atleast.

Hey all, I'm back to keep you informed on the Saints. First off, Allen will be the starting SLB, and really turned a corner last year, and Fincher is highly regarded as a future stud at MLB. I wonder where you got these two names as possible cuts, 0% chance.

Despite what someone wrote previously, Boo getting cut is a real possibility. The Saints have alot of depth at TE, and Boo blew his chance last year. For those is fantasy leagues, keep your eyes on Zach Hilton, a 6'8 TE who has really come along and has looked great all preseason. Mel Mitchell hasn't been the same since Sage's cheapshot, and is a strong candidate to get cut. Last on your list is Jimmy Verdon. I love the guy, but the Saints are too good at DE. I really hope he clears waivers and sticks on the PS. Would be a great pick-up for teams with room for him.
