Here's Why I'm Not Panicking

Don't forget the KEY injured players eventually returning. Until then tho, I'm stil panicking..

Hey Dolfans, I encourage you to be patient with the team right now. I hate losing as much as the next guy, but here's why I'm not panicking:

1. I EXPECTED THIS TO HAPPEN. Guess what? This is a brand new offense, brand new terminology, brand new concepts. Right now, all of the players are thinking through every play instead of just playing. The receivers are thinking about route depths, proper release angles, and their route adjustments. This is probably why there are so many dropped balls. This is why Tannehill is late on his decision making and thus late on getting the ball out and thus a hair off on some of the easy throws.
2. Improvements are there this year, they're just difficult to see through losses. The offensive line is better. The running game is LIGHT YEARS better. Some players are coming into their own...namely Jelani Jenkins, Derrick Shelby, and JaWaun James.
3. The defensive deficiencies can be fixed. The biggest issues at the moment are basic...getting off blocks and tackling.

If these problems persist after half of the season, then I'll panic with many of you out there.

I am at a point where you get to 2-2 and re-set during the bye. Get a few players back from injury or suspension and go from there.

Not panicking? Are you delusional? Here's what's going to happen. We're going to be 2 and 12 and then we'll win our last 2 games and people will think we're making progress while getting a lower draft pick which we'll waste anyway.

Here's an idea: Instead of going through all the trouble of writing those long assessments after every game, simply write "They suck!." You'll be right 100% of the time. Pouncey and Moreno coming back aren't gonna improve Tannehill's accuracy, or Philbin's coaching ability. It is what it is.

I was hoping they could gain a couple games this year and get to 9 wins or get lucky and maybe even get 10. Yeah, that's the offseason for you. It is clear now that this is at best an 8-8 team and really we're probably looking at 6 or 7 wins. so sit back and stop talking up the Dolphins because they'll only embarrass you. we are headed straight for another coaching change.

Assuming that we win in England (the Raiders gave the Patriots a good game, doubt we win under current circumstances), and reach the bye, then what?
Is this team going to magically reinvent itself? The only major change apart from Philbins firing would be a QB change.
Plilbin will not do it.
The Fins will be lucky to get a few more wins.
This season has 4-11 written all over it.

Yes I am sure the Bengals, Washington, Cowboys, Lions, Browns and Chargers are making excuses why they can't score points because of new OC and system......all are putting points up on the board.....our offense should be scoring more at this point, I could understand if they have a few issues but our offense played one good half of football in one game out of 3......no excuse for that.

Time to cue up all of the so-called rational posts from years gone by...No need to panic, boys...everything is gonna be alright, boys... Listen to me, the rational one, the wise one... we are getting better...it's just a matter of time...

BS! Every year it's the same ole thing and we keep falling for it. You can put sugar on a spoon full of SH*t, but it's still gonna taste like sh*t. I am done looking at the glass half full. Until we get a real QB or Tannehill starts playing like one, my glass is half empty because, right now, I have no confidence in this team.

If they haven't figured it out yet, I hope the word gets back to the players that the fans are seriously pissed. Maybe they will adapt a WORLD IS AGAINST US mentality and start playing some football! Not counting on Jimmy Wilson being able to make a tackle though, but maybe everybody else will show up and play!!
