There's always a built in excuse. Last year they had a poor line. This year they need to learn a new system. I call it bad coaching if it takes at least 25% of the season to understand a new system. By then the damage has already been done.

Why the hell should anyone panic? As if this is anything new. Please.
This is status quo around here for the past decade or so. High hopes in the offseason that are slowly dashed throughout the year, win just enough games to end up 7-9, 8-8. Thinking ahead to the offseason by late December and hoping that maybe this will be the year that the Patriots fall off the mountain (as if that mattered since the Dolphins are never in position to take advantage anyway). By next August, people will once again be talking about playoffs, and division titles, and 12-4 records, and Super Bowl runs. Then September happens and everyone comes to the shocking realization that nothing's changed.
