HEY LOOK A PFT: Ryan Clark says nobody wants to play for Dolphins Thread

I guess, Dansby, Burnett, Marshall and a host of other FA who signed with us hate the GM? Really Clark? This baby was crying last year cause we didn't offer him a top salary. Crowder? Who did he sign with? Oh yeah no one wants him. I don't have an opinion on Ireland cause there are so many factors involved with the job. If he pulled the trigger to overpay every FA out there that this board cries for we could not even field one side of the ball. I mean everybody is going to take a pay cut to play for this franchise right? Money has nothing to do with it.

So its always the player that spurns us that makes stuff up or maybe just maybe they are not that impressed with our fo. None of us know the answer either way

ill choose the latter.. i find it hard to believe that a player wouldnt want to come and play for miami dolphins, with a chance to start and be a star amongst the miami heat...to live in florida with no state tax and enjoy the great weather and living...money may be a factor,, we may not be offering as much but im sure we arent doing much to make players feel welcomed when they get here. i feel most players come here and feel like they wasted their time after talking to ireland thats what i think.

Exactly, it's something that is easy to pick up on. Doesn't mean it was ever true from the start.

You may be right but I hope for philbin's sake that Flynn sucks bucause if he goes to Seattle and plays well and whoever we sign does not fans will revolt and he will he fired

Wow... Huge indictment. I always thought that Channing had sour grapes, but it seems like most players just hate Ireland for whatever reason. They probably aren't so hot on Ross either.

I think Ireland is a good scout, but he just doesn't have the persona and people skills necessary for the role of GM.

agreed

Those guys you mentioned got paid boookooo amount of money sir...marshall dansby and burnett would play for the browns, or jacksonville for that money...money made those guys come here not ireland...and maybe the parcells prestige...theres no prestige here since parcells left...ireland shoul have left with tony.

No, i didnt formulate my opinion based of ryan clarks experience...I based my opinion off false advertisement by ross, writing checks he cant cash.. Most importantly, the fact that ireland hasnt really been able to make a splash on anything this free agency when he should be...they guy is getting paid millions to do what exactly? id say the dez bryant question killed all respect i ever had for the guy and that happeed 2 seasons ago...butt hurt that he didnt get to play for miami? looks like the deal worked out better for him as he is on a better team anyways....so he was actually doing us a favor by even coming here and interviewing...he didnt get the money he wanted and no one else is either...too bad for us not them!

What in the world are you talking about with Ross and false adverting?

As far as not getting a splash in FA. Really? So because he doesn't make the moves you like before FA is over he is an idiot and deserves to be fired. I don't get some of you, honestly.

And F Dez Bryant, tough sh*t if he can't take questions like that. It's the NFL and they are paying these guys a lot of money. I'm glad Ireland asked him that. It's a good question to test the mans character. I doubt it's the toughest question any college player was asked during an interview. God I hope it isn't. This world is becoming so PC, and over reacts to every freaking thing. That incident is the most over blown pile of crap I've ever seen.

Yes no one else is coming here, and Ireland hasn't signed one FA player, EVER! My gosh!

Twitter is the Stupidest thing..
Can someone explain to me what all this ( @ and # ) This makes NO SENSE....
Its is SOOOOOO @# STUPID

No doubt, the choices these men, Philbin/Ireland make will determine their future. I'm sure they understand that.

how dare Ireland tell Ryan Clark the truth and not overpay him. what a jerk!

yeah how dare that peice of crap asking players if there moms are prostitutes and getting into ther personal lives and exc exc, , wow he needs to gooooooo asap........

lol, I know. many women working for pimps have other jobs like... um... uh... well, I'm sure there is something...

Carl Peterson, Ross doesn't rely on him?

Carl Peterson didn´t want anything to do with this mess. He is ok behind the scenes but don´t want anything official. He prefers not getting any money to get his name attached to this franchise...

What does that have to do with Ross talking to him about football?

None of those quotes you poster are from Ryan Clark himself. Those are just followers on his account.

In case you don´t know hoq twitter works, Clark´s quotes are:

Congrats to Matt Flynn on his new deal. Good to see fellow Tigers do well for themselves! #geauxtigers
No one! To believe I almost went there but it was easy decision not to. GM
It's my honest opinion. Not a good guy making decisions
Done w talk of the Dolphins. Good luck to their team. Their are some good men working hard to win games ON the field.
