Wow pretty exciting day today! Props to Hickey. Ireland was here for 5 years and couldn't put together **** on the O-Line except for Pouncey. But he couldn't get Albert. Hickeys hasn't even been here 6 months and already landed him. And got delmas to come here. Is it me or does he have the factor needed to bring people in so far? Looking forward to the rest of the offseason and the draft especially! Phins up

Ireland didnt think he was worth big investment and I agree with him on that. I would have prefered any of the 3 other good tackles that are on the market to Albert.

I dont think so, something to do with a hyper extended knee though its his back that is the concern

Im pretty sure he missed 3 or 4 games last season

Yeah Ireland didn't think he was worth the investment but he thought Jonathan Martin was a LT in this league. Jokes on us. Regardless of what Ireland thought of Albert he certainly made no effort to find players to fit Philbin's scheme on offense or defense. We were running in place with Ireland at the helm I can promise you that.

I said he was right about albert not Martin that is a different matter.

Valdeer Collins or Monroe would all be much better signings... two of them for less money than albert.

He missed the last 4 games of the regular season with a knee sprain which was completely unrelated to his back injury. I would assume he could have played after 2 weeks off but with KC's playoff spot locked they gave him extra rest. He did play in the playoff game though.
