Bottom line, I want tanne to actually have some damn time back there to throw the ball. When albert is in, he gives him that better than any scrub last year. He may also draft one too so who knows?
 
Put the sword back in the sheath OP..... We got a long way to go.... Ireland was bad but let the FA and Draft go down before you pile on

Ireland was fairly good when it came to free agency. The draft is where you will decide if Hickey out does Ireland.

Exactly. I rather have Albert for 10 games if he gets injured rather than an average guy for all 16.

The point is, there are some that believe there are better options available RIGHT NOW that carry less risk of injury. Even if Albert were a young elite LT, the amount of time he misses due to injury should be a MAJOR concern.

That said, I don't miss Ireland one bit, and I hope Hickey's moves turn out to be right, we'll just have to wait and see.
 
I saw somewhere where Albert is the guy Philbin wanted. Something Ireland failed in was working with head coaches! So yeah this is a win!

Ireland would've re-signed Grimes(after all he was the one who brought Grimes in) Give me a break, that was an easy one. Great player, who wanted to be here.

Let's see how the rest of free agency plays out, not to mention the draft, before we crown Hickey as a competent.
 
Everyone overpays in free agency. Albert is more cinsistent than monroe, and collins had one great year. Not crowning hickey king. But so far, im on board. Hes working with philbin, show me in the draft mr hickey
